About this tournament
This is a Re-Run since the rain dampened the night for many last Friday. Same format, similar layout, FREE ENTRY!!! All are welcome even if you do not have a Space Race Player Pack.
The MVP Space Race is back! The Space Race is designed to be a nighttime ace race event featuring a two disc player pack from the industry leader in glow technology. This is an an ace race challenge on a modified Carter Park DGC.
Player Pack
There will be no player pack for this event Last week players got the Space Race Player Pack. When we run it back players will use the same 2 discs for competition. If you did not get a player pack then you will use 1 glow putter and 1 glow fairway driver. Discs must be approved at tournament central.
Format
We will play 21 holes at Carter Park ranging from 80'-160' each. Each player gets two throws per hole and earn one point for metal, three points for a chain hit and five points per ace – most cumulative points wins! The player pack discs are the only discs that will be permitted for use during competition. (See above for more details)
Flex Start
Players may tee at anytime between 6:00-7:00pm. You must have a group of 3 to play. No groups larger than 6. All players will start at hole 1a (to the practice basket). If you do not have a group to play with then we will find you one at the course!
Awards and Payout
We will have a trophy for 1st place as well as a small prize pack of MVP L2 discs.
Additional Night Golf Gear
We will have additional night golf gear available for purchase on site including UV Lights, Disc Lights, Glow Discs, and More!
