The whole of the $25 cash entry goes into the Pro payout. The two disc donation allows us to donate more of the Am entries to the soup kitchen while providing a decent payout to the Am participants as well.

We did not give Ice Bowl disc to the Pros last year except to the winner. They will be available for purchase at a discount with the proceeds going to the soup kitchen.

I think each Pro received an Ice Bowl disc or something like that and I don't think that will change for 2011. As far as adding in any cash, you'll have to ask Dan. I can say we should be over $3000 in cash raised for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and should have help again from our sponsors in assisting with the payouts but I am still working on that.

Unlike some events, and I can't speak for all of them, our Ice Bowl is about helping the less fortunate and not about winning a big payout. This is how Rick Rothstein wants all Ice Bwols to be run but like I said, not all adhere to this requirement. I know some disagree with this which is why I try to get help from our sponsors and make our event still worth its time and effort from those who wish to participate.

For those cooking all you need is to bring it in a metal pot or kettle and something to serve it with. We will provide the rest.
