Congratulations Russel Smith for that ace on hole 18! I don’t know how you got though those trees from the red tee.

If you're on waitlist do you show up and see if there are no shows the day of ? This one filled in about 10min! guess I've been lucky so far lol

Not sure how it works

Sean Callahan   March 17, 2022 at 2:08pm

No, the waitlist is only for if someone drops prior to the event. This is not a day of situation.

Ronnie Baker    March 15, 2022 at 6:27pm

When do tee times typically come out?

Sean Callahan   March 15, 2022 at 7:18pm

I will send them out on Thursday. I always wait until the Thursday before the event so I don’t have to do it multiple times due to drop outs the week before.

Ronnie Baker   March 16, 2022 at 12:11am

Thank you!

I am waitlist number 3 for advanced. What are the odds I will get to play this weekend?

Not likely, we’re tapped for daylight with the spots we have, sorry

Ben Matlock   March 14, 2022 at 6:17pm

I figured, thanks man.

Matthew Stachura    March 12, 2022 at 7:30pm

I am first on wait-list for am40 and wondering if I will get in. I am going to the course tomorrow to practice and taking off next Friday to get another round in. Is there any way to guarantee I'll have a spot. I would hate to drive all the way out there on Saturday and be turned away for the event.

The only way you will get in is if someone drops out.

Chris Bianchi    March 4, 2022 at 3:18am

MP50 filled fast with only 8 spots so I jumped in where there was an opening. Figures that all the AM50 players moved up and now there isn't room for the true Pro looking to play. It was the complete opposite a few years ago. So now I play Am 50 or INT or not at all. Letting Amateurs play in Pro division has limited the opportunities for me to play events in my age group/division. Out of the 8 spots in your MP50 division, only 3 are registered as Professional Disc Golfers. I see that the US ... more

Am playing in pro never got funny money..it wouldn't be pro if that was the case...if they want to keep AM status they must turn down cash...I believe this rule has always been in place?

Chris Bianchi   March 5, 2022 at 1:26am

Thanks Sean. I'll stay where I am. No need to opena can of worms. Just giving some feedback on how the point rule affects some folks. And Jay, by 'funny money', we mean a voucher to use at their local pro shop for merchandise. This is allowed under current PDGA rules. Not considered cash. Looking forward to starting of my tour season at this event in a couple weeks. See you there my friends.

Jay Bakula   March 9, 2022 at 3:36pm

**** I had to turn down cash as an Am playing pro back in my day... didn't realize they offered that option...

Chris Bianchi    March 1, 2022 at 11:11pm

There is a chance you may have to move up and then later in the year your rating drops and could move back down. If you take a 50% point cut on the way up do you still lose all your points on the way down? Asking for a friend.

Why not just play MP50 and be done with it?

John Andrist   March 3, 2022 at 2:55pm

Sorry Chris. They don't call me captian obvious for no reason. Haha.

John Andrist   March 3, 2022 at 2:57pm

I won't ever have to worry about being on the bubble. Even if I were to play in say MA40 I wouldn't have to worry about taking any points with me back down to MA4, since you don't get any points for last! LOL

Peter L Hernandez    February 18, 2022 at 2:03am

I'm on the wait list for ma50+. I'm ok switching to ma40+ if it doesn't look like I'm going to get in on 50+

Sean Callahan   February 18, 2022 at 8:41pm

ok, thanks! as people inevitably drop we will sort things as needed. Thanks!

John Andrist   March 1, 2022 at 5:20pm

I can switch to ma40 from ma4 if that one has a higher possibility of added spots.

Ryan Covelli    February 18, 2022 at 1:16am

Is there any chance more sports will be opened?

Sean Callahan   February 18, 2022 at 1:17am

I will do my best to squeeze as many in as I can. If there are divisions that don't use all their spots those spots will be used for the waitlist.
