About this tournament
2025 marks the fifth year The Foxwood Open will be an A-tier tournament as approved by the PDGA.
The event will once again be a USDGC(2), Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf(1) Championship qualifying tournament for the PRO divisions.
The amateurs also get a chance to qualify for the NADGT National Championships.
Innova Disc Golf and Grand River Disc Golf Club are working together to bring this event to the Waterloo Region. The tournament will showcase the challenging and beautiful Foxwood Disc Golf Course.
Registration will be done in two phases:
Phase 1: Early registration – Opens January 6th at 7pm and closes January 19th at 11pm. To sign up, an additional $50.00 is charged to your player’s fee. This is YOUR opportunity to beat the rush and secure your spot! Also a great way for you to support this event if you can, consider it a bit of personal sponsorship.
New this year there is also available to support the event thru sponsoring a hole. It is being offered during the early registration phase, as well as when general registration opens. Hole sponsorship is $100, but it also includes early registration.
||Early Registration fee is non-fundable||
Phase 2: General registration – Opens to everyone January 20th at 7pm.
To claim ONLY hole sponsorship, in the registration select Hol - Hole Sponsor and then Hole Sponsorship from the drop down. This is a first time using these options, so I am hopeful it is smooth. I will be on line in case of hiccups!

For those of you wondering about the benefits of where the hotel is located relative to the course. I live five minutes up the road from the hotel. It takes me 20-25 minutes to get to Foxwood. The hotel is ideally situated to our highway system that allows quick to and from the course, while also offering plenty of options for eating, as well as a mall within walking distance.
Grand River Disc Golf Club, Golf North – Foxwood Golf and Country Club, and Explore Waterloo look forward to hosting you in 2025.
