Fort Washington Ace Race
About this tournament
Sunday October 6th
Sign in starts 8:30am
Round starts 9:30am
One round of 44 holes. We will be playing each basket on each hole from different teeing areas, we will go twice around.
The guideline from Discraft is holes between 180 and 250 feet. I'm planning on making several under 100 feet to better ensure many aces.
Entry fee: $30
Player package
All players received two identical Discraft discs "Wildcat" made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a towel, backpack, snap cap, mini, stickers, and sports bottle. All included with your entry fee!
Rules of play
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. All players should have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal.
After all players in the group have thrown both discs, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee.
The player with the most aces after all holes is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest will be used to determine the event winner.
$5 throw your own disc is a side game we are also doing; so when you step up you throw both your ace race discs then your own disc.
