Currently (6:20 am Friday ) there are thunder storms with lightning in the area that may prevent me from installing the temp baskets for Friday practice.
This will not affect Saturday however - weather outlook for tomorrow looks great.

Bring your chainsaw Friday. Fallen trees in circle on one hole blocking basket from inside 10 feet. Is the county going to mow? Course is like a jungle.

JoFo and I did our best to clear out as much of the ninja branches on the fallen tree when we played this hole last Friday. There’s a straight to hyzer path above it, but it would be great to remove the dead tree when we are there on Friday if we can. The tree is small enough in diameter that ... more

It was removed today, along with a tree on the short tee of 7, lots of sand, and the grass being cut down fairway centers. The Parks department really did a nice job.

MA1, MA40, MA50 will play long tees ( front side ) Round One- All others will play Short. All Divisions will play Short ( Front side) Round two. There will only be one set of tees for the back side.

The temporary holes have been marked. Currently there is a blue flag for the teeing area and a pink flag for the approximate basket location. Photos have been added to this listing for reference.

That would be cool - but from a security and loss prevetion standpoint, not possible given the open nature of the park. I will be marking the layout early Sunday morning, and hopefully the general public does not pull the flags this week. The baskets will be in place Friday morning as fast as I can ... more

Hey Hannable, originally when I registered for the novice division a few weeks ago there were a few more folks in that grouping - now there’s only 2. Will that group wind up getting merged into the Rec division assuming it remains at 2 players so there’s a few more people to play against or will it remain as is?

It will remain - Our Novice division are 1st place trophy only, and offered for those who are trying to get their feet wet.

With the temp holes being added, I have not decided yet how I am laying this one out - but will have it defined at least a weekend prior so folks can walk it .

I will be making the drie up early Sunday morning to place plags. Hopefully the general public leaves them in place. It will be very similar to the layout of years past.

Is the registration truly opening in March 23? I’ve had multiple instances where the disc golf scene date was wrong. Have missed too many tournaments to let it happen again. Thanks!

Yes; the only thing that moves this date/time would be a cancellation/adjustment to the even due to an unseen circumstance.
