Winners of trophies for 2021 Pine Cone and 2021 Ahoskie:
First - Apologies this took so long.. I got the trophies back in early November, and took them to a pair of events to pass out what I could to folks i saw there , intending to mail the rest, but then in a whirlwind have dealt with a job transition, a family death, a sudden home project and life - and simply forgot to set down and box them up. I posted to the Facebook page I needed addresses and I guess it didn't get much notice; Th ...

Good afternoon - thank you for signing up for the Ahoskie stop of the FG AM Tour.
It is a busy weekend - both at the park and in disc golf. Let's break it down:
The park has issued us a permit for the event. However, the park also has a baseball tournament and a rental of the shelter for tomorrow. Our permit is for the use of the disc golf course, and specifically states we may not interfere with other events. Should you encounter an issue, call me IMMEDIATELY at 919-625-4155 but DO ...

I would like to address the park situation for this coming weekend. When this date was okayed originally in December there was no conflict. When the park dept. issued me a permit for this day several months ago there was no conflict. However in the recent days I have been informed that now there is a celebration for a graduation as well as a baseball tournament also scheduled in the park for the same day. My permit is for the use of the disc golf course. Should you arrive and you encounter veh ... more

Definitely would like to know the tournament schedule considering we are 5 days away. I heard that the park will be extra busy with some baseball games. I would like to know if we are planning to play all 22 holes still, or dropping down to 18. Thanks.
schedule will be as it has been for all of the tour events so far - register 7:30 -8:15, tee off at 8:45. 1 hour lunch.
Rnd 1 will be long tee pads for A1, MA40, MA50. All other divisions play short. Round two is short for all.
Thanks!! appreciate the quick response, exactly the information I was looking for!

Will you still be posting the schedule you intended to post on 9/15?
Sorry. Got away from me. Yes will update. All details pretty much added to a comment elsewhere here.

Any update on check in /Tee times? Are all 22 holes being played ?
Check in and 1st rnd tee time will be determined in the days leading to the event. As a general operation, I start my events early .

To whom it may concern, I would very much like to play the back tees at this course; they are a lot of fun! If it is decided that MA2 will play short tees both rounds, may I pay the extra $5 ($35 for MA2 and $40 for MA1) and compete in MA1? If it is decided that MA2 will play long then short tees (or short then long), like MA1, then I will remain in MA2. I am strongly advocating for MA2 to play one round from the back tees. The tee shots are fun and challenging. I don't know if this comment is appropriate, but nevertheless, thank you for listening.

*** ATTENTION ***
With the cancellation of the Louisburg event, this will be the final FG AM Tour tour stop for 2021.

What’s the layout going to be?
Likely will follow the tour standard for this year with MA1, MA40 and MA50 playing longs round 1, shirts round 2, and all others playing short both rounds. However that will be subject to update. Final layout will be in the player meeting email sent a day prior to competition.

Any idea for when check-in and tee times are going to be? We will be travelling from Newport News, VA if we register and would like to know if we should plan to stay the night before.
I need to look at sunrise table; come October we may slide back a bit. I will post a schedule by 9/15 on the about page.
Might be nice to start a bit later, if possible. Not sure the distance from Virginia, but I'll be driving up in the morning, as well. Is 9:30a or 10a even a possibility?
Will you still be posting the schedule you intended to post on 9/15?

Is this tournament going to be a PDGA tier event?
All of the Fly Guy Tour series stops have been C tier PDGA events.
I will be at the park on Friday making a determination on exactly which 18 holes we will utilize. Anyone practicing between now and that day I would recommend you practice all the holes and then you’ll be covered.
