As we (Palmyra Flying Disc Club) gear up for the 2024 FCO, locally we have been focused on some tweaking, clearing up some approach lines, and a couple new pin locations. If you are in the area for a practice round (or lose a disc) and would like to play with some friendly locals, check out our Facebook group. And as always, it really helps if you eat or get gas or spend any money here in Palmyra, to make sure people know WHY you were here in the first place! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100051865484312

I did not stay around for the AM payout after. How will we be notified or know how much we received?

Found 2 discs on hole 1 tee box of Orange. Let me know if you’re missing them.

I may have lost a yellow and white Saint Pro somewhere on the first couple holes.

Tomas briscoe   April 18 at 10:26pm

Excited for our first FCO. What is the parking situation? I see shuttle pick up/drop off. Thanks.

Chris Fountain   April 16 at 1:33pm

Parking: We make it right across the road for Tournament Central. Since we are playing 2 courses about a mile apart, we also offer a Shuttle service. In years past, parking on Palmyra (Orange) is a bit limited. I will also add a picture of where stuff will be on Saturday!

Tomas briscoe    April 15 at 10:14pm

I lost a pink motion on black it has a name of tj volker on it and his phone number. He gave it to me. I will be back to play Saturday if anyone finds it.

Has anyone lost a discraft tour series disc while playing lately? I have it and will be at the tournament. There wasn’t a name on it but it is a nice disc, would like to return it to the right person. Thanks

For the Am field what percent will the payout be? 25%?

Chris Fountain   April 11 at 5:29pm

Looks to be a little higher than that, but pretty close.

Eric Dochterman   April 11 at 6:45pm

PDGA minimum is 40% but some td’s go up to 50%

Riley Kliethermes    April 9 at 3:55pm

Are there going to be porta potties at either of the courses?

Chris Fountain   April 9 at 4:11pm

Yes! Orange does not normally have facilities, but will have them will be in place for the Tournament. Black has Bathroom on the right of B1's fairway and also at our Sesquicentennial Building! Water and Ice will be available on both courses.

Courage Davis    April 5 at 11:15pm

Is the course set now for FCO? Or do you know when that will happen?

Chris Fountain   April 6 at 12:34am

Yes! Everything is in the FCO mode with the exception of O16. It’s in the right spot, but it will be elevated! B7 was just elevated in the long pin placement yesterday. Excited to see everyone practicing!

marc waters    April 2 at 2:19am

First time playing FCO and excited. We're arriving Fri morning 4-19. Are these courses cart friendly?

Marcus Roegge   April 2 at 1:35pm

Black course is very cart friendly. The Orange Course is mostly cart friendly but there is a lot of elevation changes that may make it hard to traverse with a cart.

marc waters   April 2 at 4:55pm

Thanks!!

Is there any place close by to camp? No services are necessary. Just need a good place to park the camper. Are the fairgrounds open to campers? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

Wakonda State Park is about 15 minutes North. It is a nice place to camp and has a lake.

Chris Fountain   April 2 at 7:18pm

We will have limited Camping AT THE PARK this year! They are opening up some spots for us. You must Register with the Parks and Rec Office @ 573 769-9534. Camping will be about 800 ft from Registration and Tournament Central!

Wesley Inglebright    March 30 at 1:13pm

Which pool starts on which course? Also, will the caddy books be sent via email or should I be on the lookout for a link or something?

Caleb Kramer   March 30 at 11:23pm

Last year A pool started on Black. And caddy book was sent via email.

Chris Fountain   March 30 at 11:44pm

Yep! A Pool Starts Black Finishes Orange...B Pool Vice Versa. We will be emailing the Caddy Book out, But I will also make a link to it and make it a sticky post!

Rick Curtin III    March 27 at 5:39pm

If Wait Listed, do most get in or no? I live in KC and don't want to sign up and make a choice to drive there. Thanks!

Chris Fountain   March 28 at 12:07pm

Rick, we will finalize the registration a couple days before the tournament. You should know before heading over!

Tomas briscoe    March 17 at 1:02am

Is there a players pack or tee shirt for ma3?

Chris Fountain   March 18 at 1:56am

Hoping to release the players guide this week and finialize the players pack before next week! We are adding to the players pack right up to the last day! There will be a tshirt and disc for all AM divisions.

Tomas briscoe   March 22 at 1:19am

Oh ok thank you.

Nick Orf    February 2 at 1:41pm

Is the am CTP event like it was last year or is it during the round at a specific hole/ holes?

Chris Fountain   February 2 at 2:24pm

CTP this year will be during the round. 1 CTP per Pool, it will be an ace-able hole! More to follow on which hole in the Caddie Guide. (We liked doing the stadium event thing in between rounds, but during the round is better use of your time...and not as dependent on perfect timing!)
