Flora Chamber of Commerce Amateur Doubles Disc Golf Tournament
About this tournament
The Flora Chamber of Commerce is excited to host their 4th Annual Amateur Doubles Disc Golf Tournament at the Flora Rotary Disc Golf Course in Charley Brown Memorial Park in Flora, IL. We would like to thank all the local businesses who are sponsoring the event as well as the Flora Rotary Club and the City of Flora for making a very nice course. Also, thank you to Pathfinder Disc Golf who will be doing on-site vending for anyone who wants to expand their bag.
Registration Information:
This will be a trophy only event with winners for 1st and 2nd place for all three divisions. The players pack and other free event activities will be worth at least the cost of registration.
Each registered player on the first 25 teams will receive a players pack. The players pack will be your choice of and Innova bundle or a Trilogy bundle.

1 - Dewfly Towel
1 - Innova Sticker
1 - Deck of Playing Cards

1 - Choice of Chuckin' Aces stamped Dynamic Discs Vandal or Westside Discs Tursas

Free CTP or long putt prizes will be available to all registrants.
Temp hole 6B (down the sledding hill) will be a free $50 ace opportunity for all registrants.
$5 Ace Pot available at registration. All baskets will be located at the short pin position so there should be 8 - 14 ace opportunities depending on your throwing distance. Ace on temp hole 6B and win both pots! If no aces are hit then a 50/50 CTP contest will be held after winners are announced.
50/50 CTP contest is also available for $5. This will be broken down by division.
Players can purchase an event t-shirt for $5 at registration prior to October 2nd. Event t-shirts will also be available on-site while supplies and sizes last.
Choose your division for registration using the following standards for the BEST PLAYER on your team. There must be at least 3 teams in any division to qualify for a trophy. Registrations will be on the honor system and will not be checked:
NOVICE - PDGA rating of under 850 with at least 1 rated round in the last year or no PDGA number having played disc golf regularly for less than 2 years.
ADVANCED - PDGA rating of 850 or greater with at least 1 rated round in the last year or no PDGA number having played disc golf regularly for more than 2 years.
MIXED - The mixed division must consist of two players of different genders. There are no PDGA rating or disc golf experience limits.
Tournament Info:
40 holes played - 2 rounds of 20
Standard scramble "best disc" rules.
Fairway OB will be marked or indicated on signs. Creeks and beyond are OB if the disc is surrounded by water. Ditches are casual relief regardless of water.
Extra Items On-Site:
Food will be available on-site and an optional meal (pork burger, chips, and drink) will be provided free with player registration. Non-players can have the same lunch for just $5. Online registrants can choose whether or not they would like the meal.
FREE Disc Golf Clinic will be held after lunch for anyone interested in learning about the sport. The basics of throwing and putting will be covered. Practice baskets and discs will be available to use.

Refund policy
Flora Chamber of Commerce is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refunds requested less than 24 hours prior to the event may only receive a partial refund.
