If anyone finds a grey ESP swirl Zone in the pond in hole 6, I’d really appreciate getting it returned. Will do what it takes to get it back. Thanks!

As of 11am it’s nice with no rain or wind

Daniel Hamric    February 10 at 3:03pm

What’s the status with the hail and rain?

Jacob Geesin   February 10 at 3:20pm

Rain delay until 10-11am from lightning. Course is flooded and we need to wait for it to clear. If it rains any more, we have to postpone

Leslie King    February 9 at 11:25pm

Anyone showing up at 9 for a rainy round? ????

Can i be yalls 3rd?

Leslie King   February 10 at 1:42am

You’re welcome to, however I’m playing MA3, so I’m playing the short tees. I think they said that would be fine in someone else’s comment though.

Kian kuo   February 10 at 2:23am

Ill show up around 8:45 ish and see if i can find a card, if not we can ask the td

Vincent Nieves    February 9 at 5:01pm

It’s looking like rain in and out all day. Are we still a go?

Jacob Geesin   February 9 at 3:47pm

Yessir! Roy G plays great when it's wet. Rain tees will be in effect (one-meter on each side of the teepad)

Brett Berkey   February 9 at 10:13pm

Bring your favorite umbrella!

Leslie King    February 8 at 7:29pm

Hey! I’ll be in town from Nashville for a work conference on 2/10 only. I’m thinking about playing the flex in the morning as I do not have to be available for the conference until 3pm. Would I be able to play a practice round on the course first, or do I have to go in blind? Thanks!

Either way, you won’t regret playing a round at Roy G. Welcome to Austin!

Jacob Geesin   February 9 at 1:51pm

The course is totally open for play! As far as we’re concerned, you’re a casual player coming out to get a round in and when you finish there just so happens to be a tournament going on as well that you can jump in on. There are no problems on my end, have fun and welcome to Austin!

Leslie King   February 9 at 10:52pm

Thanks y’all! I appreciate the response!

Daniel Hamric    February 8 at 4:10am

I can have a caddy join me, yes?

Jacob Geesin   February 8 at 1:27pm

Yes!

Daniel Hamric   February 8 at 3:12pm

Awesome! Thanks!

What’s the policy on mixing pools in a card? Since it’s a flex start, and if the numbers are low, it could be hard to find a full card in our pool.

The new PDGA rules indicate that divisions should not be mixed for events, but it is my interpretation that this rule is applied to shotgun starts where TD's could randomly assign players to groups. We're going to do our best to ensure that cards are playing the same layout. We'll play it by ear, but if there are people waiting for extended amounts of time we will mix the cards.

So if I am planning on playing with all MA1 players and I normally play MA3 I need to play MA1 to play with them?

Jacob Geesin   February 9 at 1:52pm

No, we’d try to get you on a card with players not playing the long tees. You’d just play the shorts while others play the longs. We did this last year and didn’t have many issues.
