So I ended up on the waitlist but I have a tee time on a card. I know how the wait list usually works but getting a tee time I'm confused on of I'm in?

Let's all be FSFZ smart and safe. Wear a mask when you can't keep 6 feet of social distance and when interacting publicly with sponsors, the media, and at Tournament HQ.

Players should plan to arrive at the disc golf course NO EARLIER than 24 minutes before their tee time.
Two practice baskets and a throwing net will be available at the course for warm up. The Harry Wolf Jr. Field/Shelter 3 area of Two Mile Run Park (2195 Gypsy Glen Road, Beaver PA) has also been reserved for warming up. The Harry Wolf Jr field is 8 minute drive from the tournament site.
See Pictures (above) for a map of the area.

Please be sure you have completed the COVID agreements with your registration. You may also add the $2 Ace Pot when you edit your registration.

Know that NO cash will be accepted the day of the event, and the Ace Pot will close on July 3. Ace pot will be paid out via PayPal if it is hit. If no aces, the ace pot will go to 2MRX tee pad fund.

I'm trying to complete the COVID agreement but it won't let me continue without paying for registration again..I'm already registered for the event is that correct sir?

J. Gary Dropcho   June 24, 2020 at 12:59pm

You are registered Terry. At the top of the Registered Players page of this site, you will see your name and Withdraw or Edit options. Choose Edit and make changes to your registration there.

David Morris   June 23, 2020 at 7:07pm

I'm not sure I could do any time other than the afternoon, how would that work?

J. Gary Dropcho   June 24, 2020 at 2:12pm

Waitlisted players will get promoted into the tee time that becomes available.

J. Gary Dropcho    June 9, 2020 at 9:01pm

Someone asked why we were restricting groups to 3-somes.
Here’s our rationale:
2 Reasons: ONE-- at the time that we switched the date from June 23 to July 5 we wanted 3somes to keep maximum social distance and fewer backups. Backups causes crowds around tee pads and backups are more
possible with Rec field of 25 including FA3;
TWO-- it's a 9-hole course played 2X with the second lap White tee/Gold basket layout playing significantly harder than the first round Red tee-Red bask ... more

why are there 4-somes now?

An Ace Pool for "hole-in-ones" during the tournament has been added to registration options. No cash will be accepted the day of the event, so players who want in the ace pool should use the self-service link to update their registration and PayPal their $2 buy-in BEFORE July 5.
We apologize for not having this option set up previously.

Please review these PDGA guidelines for best tournament practices that we will observe for the FSFZ:

Because of COVID-19, we are implementing measures to keep players safe and procure PDGA-sanctioning for the event, once PA government moves Beaver County to Green.

Everyone who plays in the tournament must agree to social distancing safety measures. If you are already registered for the tournament, please go the Registered Players page and Edit your registration by agreeing to the 4 safety measures.

We will keep players updated as things develop.

It says North Boundary instead of two mile in one of the conditions

J. Gary Dropcho   May 29, 2020 at 2:28pm

Thanks Scott. It has been corrected.

Glenn Allen    May 27, 2020 at 10:57pm

Now question, do you have to have a pdga number to be rated?

J. Gary Dropcho   May 28, 2020 at 11:32am

Yes, you get a player rating when you are an active PDGA member and play tournament and league rounds in PDGA-sanctioned events.

J. Gary Dropcho    May 25, 2020 at 9:38pm

Innova is changing their player package to give players more choice. All Ams will get a custom-stamped 2MRX 10th anniversary disc, Innova string bag and sticker, as well as a $10 Disc Golf United voucher redeemable online.

Flex-Start Friends:

We anticipated that the PDGA might cancel sanctioned events in May, and so we have worked with Brighton Township, the PDGA, and our sponsors to move the Flex-Start Friend-Zy to Sunday, July 5, 2020.

We will immediately refund entry fees (minus the DGS admin costs) for players who decide they cannot play the event on its new date. We ask that those who wish to withdraw request their refund through the Disc Golf Scene event page.

We all hope that business and recreatio ... more
