Flex Start Friday at Cougar Lake

We are back out at Cougar Lake for the start of the 2024 season! What better way to start the new season than with a round at Arkansas's newest pro level course!

This event is a one round, flex start (2/2/24) which allows players to tee anytime throughout the day during the allotted time, 9am-3pm. Players may bring their own group or find one at the course. You must have 3 players on a card to start.

This event has a unique Facebook Event Page where we will post live updates before and during the event. Things like course rules sheets, weather updates, payouts, and more can be found here. By responding "Going" or "Interested In" you will receive updates when we post things on the Facebook Event Page. It is highly recommended that registered or interested players do so. Pre-Registration CTP's
Register online or on site. Online Preregistration is preferred and will enter you to compete for 2 CTP holes if done the day before the event! We accept cash, card, and Venmo on site for registration. If you are registering a doubles team please include both players names in the "Name" line item.

Doubles
Doubles is unsanctioned. Players will play best shot doubles. We will be using the official PDGA rules. Extra throws will count as practice shots which will count against your total score. For all official rules, visit https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf. Players will record their scores via the UDisc event. Doubles teams can play with 3 singles players if there isn't another doubles team within a reasonable amount of time.


Course Layouts
MPO, MP40+ and MA1 will play Cougar Lake Long Tees. All other divisions will play the Cougar Lake Short Tees. Players are allowed to tee from either side of the short tees.

Pro Doubles will play the regular tees. Am and Mixed doubles will play the short tees.


Entry Fee Breakdown
Cost will be $25 per player, $50 per team for doubles. If you are not a current PDGA member there will be a $10 fee (singles only).

Singles
$17 per player will go to payout, $3 fees, $5 Green fees.
Doubles
$34 per team will go to payout, $6 fees, $10 Green fees.


Flex Start Payout
Pro divisions will payout in cash via PayPal. Players can expect to receive funds digitally no later than the Monday following the event at 5pm.

Amateur players are awarded merchandise credit redeemable at the on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop. Payout can not be awarded until all players in a division have finished their rounds. Players are welcome to spend payout on the day of the event after their division has completed play, the following day at Cougar Lake Doubles, or at any other Disc Golf Dojo event.

Am payout will expire 2 years after it is awarded. Credit awarded at this event is valid through February 2nd, 2026.

The Disc Golf Dojo is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
