Join us for the Grand Opening and Inaugural Tournament of the NEW Disc Golf Course at Kent State University!
ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Flash Drive Open is a tournament open to the public, but 24 spaces are reserved for students. This is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier, charity/amateur only event. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Flash-a-thon. All registrered participants will receive a player's pack and be eligible for prizes! Light refreshments will be provided. Additional food options will be available for purchase on-site.
Check in and registration begin at 8 a.m. followed by tee off at 9:45 a.m.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The tournament begins at the Kent State University Student Recreation and Wellness Center, located at 1550 Ted Boyd Drive in Kent, OH. The tournament features indoor restrooms, locker room access and free parking.
The course features concrete tee pads for the long tees and grass surface for the short tees. The baskets are Mach 5s. Par for the course is 58.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Regular registration is available online through EventBrite and ends on Wednesday, Sept. 17. All participants wishing to register after this date must do so the day of the tournament; a $5 late registration fee will apply.
