Will the $5 green fee be waived? Thanks.

Yes. It’s included in the registration fee.

William, In truth, I asked you to open up MA50 for your last tournament but I decided to play a bigger venue (Victoria Open), which is my prerogative as a player. There are so many now, and it was a schedule conflict. But for this tournament, which is what we are talking about, I asked you to consider opening up MA-50 for this event because I was trying to use this as a qualifier for nationals. But now I see Kyle’s point, cause this is an affiliate event. However, in truth, I was not the o ... more

Damn, I thought we were here to throw plastic discs and have fun. Y’all need to put the PC Twitter rants elsewhere. Lol.

William, that’s interesting, cause in an email conversation with an NADGT Operations Director, other NADGT events provide invitations even in one person divisions. I guess you are choosing to intentionally exclude an age group (MA50). Just wondering why the rules are different from NADGT event to NADGT event? Or is it a TD’s personal call?

This is an NADGT Affiliate event. Unlike other events tied to NADGT, the tournament director has made a choice to partner with us as an add on. All decisions are made by the tournament director. The decision is up to them to do what is best for their event or what they have done in the past. NADGT is happy to be included with First Available @ the Zip.

Ben, I admire the passion for your division. However, the comment is a bit combative. Let’s look at the facts:

There’s a total of 20 age protected divisions not offered for this tournament.

There are multiple other divisions offered that you qualify to play.

You asked me to op ... more

This is not currently on the NADGT calendar. Do you know when/of this will be added?

The tournament was added as an NADGT affiliate at last minute Wednesday night. I’ll ask Kyle, but I’m assuming it’ll be added some time next week.

William, why is there no MA50 division in this NADGT event? Please consider! It would be nice to try to qualify in the division that we would compete at in October.

Invites to States needs a minimum of 5 in the division. Invites to Nationals needs a minimum of 10 in the division. MA40 and MA60 have been the masters divisions with the most participants in the last 5 tournaments I run. By only having MA40 and MA60 there's a higher probability of the minimum player requirements being met and provides a greater opportunity for folks to get invites.

I disagree. The last NAGDT tournament at Red Rock was 8 deep and Pecan City had 7. We had 12 at LOSO last year. Last Zip tournament we had 8. What’s done is done but not having 50s is a miss.

No MA50s?

Could you tell us which tees each division is playing?

MA1, MA2, MA40 Longs. Everyone else shorts. I’ll add the info to the about section.
