So here is how the course will play for both the long and short tee pads unless some monsoon pops in tonight:
proposed: Open and AM1 long / long, AM2 and AM Masters long / short, AM3, AM4, and AM Women - Short / short
*NOTE: All Long baskets will will have an orange flag taped to them.
Hole 1 = 286' (no change)
Hole 2 = 300' (Portable basket in the trees on the right for the longs).
Hole 2 = 238' (Permanent basket - short)
Hole 3 = 420' (long)
Hole 3 = 280' (temporary tee pad, short)
Hole 4 = 341' (no change)
Hole 5 = 370' (Portable basket in the trees by the creek for the longs - creek is not O.B.)
Hole 5 = 258' (Permanent basket - short)
Cross the bridge and turn right facing south...
Hole A = 290' (Portable basket for both long and short along River, water on right is O.B.)
Hole B = 500' (Portable basket on picnic table for long - over the reservoir)
Hole B = 340' (Short tee on the right by the woods to basket on picnic table)
Hole 6 = 402' (new basket to the right, longs)
Hole 6 = 321' (Permanent basket - short)
Hole 7 = 220' (no change)
Hole 8 = 195' (no change)
Hole 9 = 285' (temp long tee pad 80' behind cement tee pad)
Hole 9 = 205' (no change for shorts)
Hole 10 = 322' (new basket to the left, longs)
Hole 10 = 195' (Permanent basket - short)
Hole 11 = 426' (proposed new tee pad between trees, longs)

Hole C = 325' (never before seen hole. Tight, low ceiling, woods to the right, trees to the left.
Hole 14 = 330' (Portable basket for the longs up the hill to old basket location)

Hole 16 = 325' (New proposed hole layout, new tee pad in trees away from river, new basket location closer to river)

Hole D = 333' (Portable basket for long over weeds - walk past 18 tee box towards water holes)
Hole D = 222' (Throw north down path parallel with lake)
Hole E = 375' (Portable basket on picnic table past pump house towards baseball field over water for lake - Lake O.B.)
Hole E = 265' (Portable basket on picnic table for shorts over lake - Lake O.B.)
Hole F = 310 (Portable basket near 18 tee box for longs throwing over creek, blind anhyzer through trees)
Hole F = 190' (Portable basket for shorts near 18 tee box, tee pad after bridge)
Hole 18 = 373' (no change for longs)
Hole 18 = 266' (temp tee pad for shorts)
LONGS = 7870'
SHORTS = 6475'

There are some Open players playing, they did not pre-register.
Firefighters Park is a course where many people can score well, Open and AMs alike.
Therefore, unless we alter the course and make different layouts, which we have done, they will not play because it is a Players Rating negative to come out and shoot really well only to have an AM equal their score. So thank you Larry anyways but you have to understand the reasoning...

@Don: Coming off of the bridge from Hole 5, Hole 6 tee pad will move directly East about 80 feet or so. Basically keep walking straight off the bridge along the top ridge of the reservoir on the right ... show more ›

@Don: Coming off of the bridge from Hole 5, Hole 6 tee pad will move directly East about 80 feet or so. Basically keep walking straight off the bridge along the top ridge of the reservoir on the right and stop just before the 1st tree on the left. The basket will be moved also further East about 30 feet but north about parallel with 7's tee box. The hole will go from a 340ish to 380ish in length but more of a lefty friendly hole and more importantly, to your point made below, open up the clustering around those people playing hole 7.
