Find Your Force: Women's Best Disc Doubles

Find Your Force Doubles is an unsanctioned, one-round, best-disc, bring-your-own-partner, women's doubles event at Wickham Park on Sunday, April 14th, 2024.

This tournament is for all levels of women disc golfers!

We encourage those who have never competed in a tournament to make this their first! On tournament day, there will be a meeting just for first timers, where we will run through some rules and etiquette that you may not be familiar with.

First tournament? A "Purple" division exists just for you! Those registered for "Purple" will play "short" tees along with the Juniors. Purple tees will be finalized the day before.

Team registration guidelines:
FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4: Register your team for the division based on the higher rating.
Masters: Both players must fall in the range of the division, or team plays in the division of the younger player.
Juniors: Both players must fall in the range of the division, or team plays in the division of the eldest player.

Team entry fees:
$40 for Juniors
$55 for Amateurs
$75 for PROs.

Amateurs Players' Pack will include choice of one Find Your Force Doubles MVP Crave or Wave custom Disc and one Find Your Force Doubles ZING Mini (marker), perhaps a few other cherished DG related items.

Amateur players compete for made-by-us resin plaques.
First place in every amateur division.
First and Second place in amateur divisions with 3 or more teams
First, Second and Third place in amateur divisions with 4 or more teams
First, Second and Third in Junior Divisions. (Registered before 4/9/24).

We make the awards for this event, so the sooner the better for registering to be sure that the above are fulfilled. Resin requires many days of resting for each layer... so divisions with last minute registrations may not get their awards on the day of the event.

PRO players will have cash payouts.

We will all throw from the regular tee on 1, with the tall grass being legal.
22-hole Alternative Layout for AMs and PROs, with some modifications in the OB.
All scoring for this event will be on UDisc. Cards will be pre-assigned. Play will follow PDGA rules and a Mini must be used to mark your lie (no flipping please).

Ace Pot: During Check-in on tournament day, each player will have the option to buy into an Ace Pot for $5 (cash only). If no aces after 22 holes, the Ace fund will go to Wickham Park.

Options offered only during registration:
Amateurs- Team Mulligans (tee shot only) for $5 each (during registration); max of 2 per team.

All: Raffle tickets are 5 for $5. Raffle will be held after awards ceremony.

All: Distance Challenge: $10 for those individuals interested in staying beyond awards/raffle and joining a distance challenge (throw 5 discs each), with winner take all. Four pools: Juniors, Amateurs, Masters and PROs.

All: Tee Sponsorship is $25 for those interested in having their name or company name posted at a tee for the day.

$5 from every amateur team's fees will go towards #AllAboutBirdies, a 50/50 pot, with half the fund awarded to the amateur team with the most total birdies; the other half of the fund will be donated to Audubon. Any tie will be resolved with a CTP (closest to the pin) throw off after awards/raffle.

Balance of the proceeds from Find Your Force tournament will be divided between Breast Cancer Alliance and Throw Pink.

This is a pay-to-park facility, the parking fee is $10 per car.
