I am excited to announce the 2nd annual Festivus In The Park!
Festivus In The Park 2 is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier, All-Amateur, One-day singles tournament, with two rounds on the same layout - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided for all participants between rounds, including drinks.
This event has once again been approved as a Developmental CEP under the PDGA’s Competition Endowment Program. This allows for a lower PDGA non-member/non-current registration fee of $5.00 rather than the usual $10.00. This does not apply to Junior Divisions, as they are not required to pay a non-member fee in a C-Tier event.
Divisions - A division must have at least three registrants for it to remain active (except for Female and Junior divisions). I am once again starting with most all divisions available knowing that it will likely be necessary to eliminate some divisions prior to the tournament, but I’d rather offer more options up front. If changes are necessary, entrants will be notified and moved to a different appropriate division or offered a refund if desired. Please be mindful of appropriate division ratings requirements, i.e., no player should attempt to register for a division that is not appropriate for their skill level, age, or current PDGA rating.
Pros playing Ams - While this will be an amateur event with no payouts (players pack only), professional classified players who meet the ratings requirement for a given division are allowed to compete in C-Tier events. I have included a chart in the pictures section that outlines these requirements. It is also a good reference for amateur division ratings.
Layout(s) - 20 Hole Layout, with modified layout for Ladies and Junior Divisions. Caddie Book PDF available above. May be downloaded to phone for access during play.
Trophies - 1st place winners in all divisions played will receive trophies, and ALL Junior players will receive a trophy, regardless of how they place.
Players Packs - Will include a premium stamped disc from Discraft and other great items. In addition to the provided lunch and drinks, Gatorade and bottled water will also be available as part of each participants’ players pack.
Prize Raffle - As with last year, prize raffle will take place during lunch. While you will not have to be present to win during drawing to win, it is appreciated. Prizes include a practice basket from Discraft, a Ledgstone Bag from GripEQ, 2 Disc Racks, Rare discs from The Flying Disc Museum, Hats, Shoulder bags, a Range Finder, and other cool prizes.

Registration Options Info:
Ace Pot - Ace Pot is optional, but you must contribute at the time of registration to be eligible for the prize. If more than one ace is hit, the prize will be shared. If no aces are hit during regulation play, then all players who contributed to the ace pot will have a CTP throw off following the final round, and the prize will be split between those with the three (3) closest throws ($75.00 each). Ace Pot will be $225
Disc Choice - Players Pack will include a premium tournament stamped disc from Discraft. Please select an option: Putter, Mid-Range, Fairway Driver, or Distance Driver (assorted molds). While I cannot guarantee your choice, I will do my best to honor your selection.
Raffle Tickets - All players will receive ONE raffle ticket as part of their registration. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased DURING REGISTRATION ONLY ($5 for 2 extra tickets, or $10 for 5 extra tickets).
Pizza Problem - The provided lunch will once again be Pizza (Barro's Pizza). If for some reason you simply cannot eat pizza (or prefer a gluten-free vegetarian pizza), please let me know and I will look into providing such an option (or even a simple salad).

This is intended to be a family friendly event. Red Mountain Park offers a great environment for non-participating family members to enjoy the day and support their competing players.
Pass Through fees are $5.00 per player - ($2.00 PDGA per player fee, and $3.00 for Green Fees (course/ramada permit and reservation). less
