Welcome to Feed the Beast IX!
Due to last year's course sponsorships and fundraising we have been able to elevate this event to a B tier! Thank you all so much!
PLAYER’S PACK:
All amateurs to receive a Dynamic Retriever, Stainless Steel Water Bottle, and Premium Disc with custom stamp designed by the amazing Dave Condon of andhowgraphics!
PDGA FEES:
$3 from each player's entry will be used toward PDGA fees.
HOLE SPONSORS ($20):
By sponsoring you'll receive early registration as well as the ability to advertise a business of your choosing, please relay the details/logo/desired hole so we can ensure proper signage is displayed. Sponsorship funds will go toward bringing this event back to B tier status for 2025!
FORMAT/LAYOUT:
All divisions will be playing the 18 hole layout at Page Park. This will be a two day event consisting of tee times starting on hole 10.
CTPS:
We're currently looking for CTPs for this event. If you'd like to donate a CTP please get in contact with myself or Dan. By donating a CTP prize you will be given signage recognition on the hole of your choice. We will be dividing any donated CTPs among the divisions as evenly as possible with at least one for all players.
PARKING:
Please fill the poolside lot, past hole 13 prior to parking in other areas. Thank you.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
Tournament Central for this event will be at the building in front of hole 10.
CHECK IN:
Players must check in prior to their round's start. Withdraws and Refunds will be in accordance with the PDGA Competition Manual section 1.03
ACE POT:
In the event an ace is not hit all players who paid in will throw CTP shot from alt hole 12 The CTP takes the pot.
PLAYER’S MEETING:
A digital player's meeting will be sent on June 28th.
TEE TIMES:
Will be posted not later than 8pm on June 28th, please make sure you arrive with plenty of time to check-in before the start of your round. Tee times will start at 8am with cards teeing at 10 minute intervals (subject to change based on field size). Tentative teeing order for divisions FA60 > FA3 > MA60 > MA3 > FA50 > FA2 > MA50 > MA2 > FA40 > FA1 > MA40 > MA1 > FP50 > FP40 > MP50 > MP40 > FPO > MPO (subject to change pending registration).
SCORING:
Please be mindful that scoring rules have changed this season. Rule 808a indicates that "Each player must keep an independent scorecard recording scores after each hole for the entire group. A player who refuses to keep score may be subject to disqualification." While electronic scoring through the PDGA live system is preferred, paper scorecards will be available at tournament central for use during the round. After your round, in accordance with rules 808f, please visit tournament central to reconcile your group's scorecards.
AWARDS/PRIZES:
This is a true amateur event!
Winners will be awarded on Sunday upon completion of their division's rounds. At this time there will be a brief award ceremony for CTP prizes and Trophies.
