Feather Frenzy: Women’s Global Event
This event is the 2nd stop of the Illinois Women’s Series!
Feather Frenzy is a one day PDGA Women’s Global Event on August 6th; globally women will play one or both days (6th and/or 7th) all around the world playing at least two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women's Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament will be submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the player's "Global Score."
You do not have to be a current PDGA member to compete. The PDGA has waived all non-member and player fees for all WGE divisions at this global event so that it is more accessible for new players.
Juniors 12 and under will play one round and be trophy only.
Player’s Packs will include WGE packs from PDGA (2 discs, towel, pin, mini, sticker) plus custom tournament disc, worry stones and gems from The Rock and Soul, and other goodies. The first 70 amateurs to register will for sure get a WGE players pack, anyone after that May receive other merch in lieu of the WGE pack. Value will be 200-300% of entry fee as usual including payouts provided by Dellwood Disc Golf!
Massage therapy on site by Alejandra Nieves owner of Luxor Escape!
Sammy’s Linqs and Drinks will be vending lunch on site!
Raffle and fun planned for after both rounds!
Open payouts and ace pot will be paid via PayPal.
