Fat Frogg's Holly Jolly Putting Championship
About this tournament
Welcome to Fat Frogg's Holly Jolly Putting Championship. Burlington Area Disc Golf Club is happy to bring this event to you from the fantastic Fat Frogg Bar & Grill. Bring the family to come hang out and watch the competition. All cash payout for Pros, Vouchers for AMs to Redemption Disc Golf, $3 from each entry goes towards the trophy for the champions. See the pictures for the payout table. Both the Singles and Doubles Championships will run simultaneously, so there will be breaks between matches as we progress through the brackets. Priority is given to the Singles Championship. Double Elimination. The Doubles is BYOP, but if you do not have a partner feel free to register for it and you'll be paired with someone who needs a partner as well.
Also, we will be doing a Dirty Santa. Open to all players and spectators. Simply bring a wrapped item $10 to $25 in value.
For the Singles Championship
1.) Baskets will be placed 33 feet apart from the pole of each basket. (shorter for Ams!!!)
2.) Players have to stay behind the pole of the basket when throwing. If a player goes past the front edge of the pole the disc that was thrown will not count. Opponents may throw from the same side or not.
3.) Players must throw both discs during the turn and players will alternate throwing discs.
4.) A coin toss will be conducted before each game to see which team starts throwing first.
5.) Each game will go to at least 11 points. You can go over 11 points and not be penalized. You must win by 2 points.
6.) Scoring will be 1 point for a make and 3 points if you make both. This tournament will follow cancellation scoring. Example: If player A has made both putts and player B has made 1 putt. Player A will be awarded 2 points.
7.) When a player scores points they start the next throwing sequence.
8.) If there is a protest/discrepancy it will be up to the tournament coordinator to rule on the protest/discrepancy. The tournament coordinator's ruling will be final.
We're also going to be hosting a Doubles Championship available as a $10 Add-on per player. Simply have both you and your partner purchase the add-on during the registration. Doubels are a single division. With all Cash payout.
For the Doubles Championship (one division for doubles)

2.) Teams consist of 2 players and both players have to stay for the whole tournament. There will be no subs allowed when the tournament starts. Participants can only be on one team.
3.) Players have to stay behind the pole of the basket when throwing. If a player goes past the front edge of the pole the disc that was thrown will not count. Opponents may throw from the same side or not.
4.) Players must throw both discs during the turn and players will alternate throwing discs.
