Evening fellow crazed Discgolf’s

I wanted to share with all registered players the Camping/Parking update.
For those of you that have purchased a Camping Pass during registration. We will be mapping out the Camping area and delegating spaces on a first come first basis. The Camping begins Thursday Set 2nd - Sept 6th
With limited space we will need to organize you in areas suitable to your accommodations.

Parking will be outlined and explained in the detailed map we will be distributing following this weekend. Aug 21st

I don’t recall seeing an option to add a camping pass but probably missed it as registration was so quick! I intend to camp, can you let me know how I can add this?

Howi. Neither did I. We are bringing a 34ft RV. I will need a very flat spot as it has no self levelling ability.

Hey Howi, any chance that registration will be available to edit? I forgot to click the camping fee when I was registering, but would like to camp. It will most likely just be in a vehicle instead of a tent, so we don't need a bunch of space lol

You play at the same time in different courses, but if you play early and finish early you can go watch the later pros

Are T-shirts only available for certain divisions? I want to register for MA2 and get a T-shirt. Is that not an option?

Hi John, yes more spots will be available. The pools are set at 120 for pro and 120 for AM. There will be open registration until those fill.

Any idea what's schedule look like for this event? Noticeably Sat-Sun meaning one round per day and the last call on Monday would be around what time? Got a flight to catch returning BC on Monday.

Sched is not yet set in stone, but the idea is to run tee times on all 3 days (Sat/Sun/Mon) with the last card going out between noon and 1pm max

Is it possible to request to be on one of the earlier tee times? I have to work Tuesday and have a 9 hr drive back home. It'll be a rough day, but it'll be worth it;)

I was waiting for general registration as I don't have the money to pay to sponsor a hole. Is there any chance there will be spots open for general registration?
The divisions also seem pretty slim.

Yes, we will be capping Pro and AM pools at 120 each and will be removing divisional caps (pool caps only).

Does the $14 000 added cash go towards only the open divisions or some for other divisions as well?

Hi Zachary. We have other sources of sponsorship coming in and our goal is 200% payout for AMs as well. 14k is pro pool.

Hello. I would like to offer my property as a safe camping site for anyone attending Falcons Flight. I live west of Caroline. It is about 40 mins travel from my house to Aspen Meadows. It was Sunday at 8pm...there were some issues so it wasn't working until like 8:30. General registration opens Thurs, July 29 though

Are there short and long tees? If so, are MA2 playing shorts or longs?

Yes, some holes will have shorter tees and MA2 would be playing from them. We have fewer short tees than years past, so most holes will be the same single tee pad.

What other divisions will be from the alternative tees?

We haven't decided the cutoff yet for exactly which divisions play long vs. short. I assume you're specifically talking about MA40 and there might be someone on the committee also who plays MA40 ;). Stay tuned, competitors will know which pads they are playing before they arrive.

I should also add that if all goes to plan, there will be concrete pads for the short tees as well!

We’ve also moved away from divisional caps and are only applying pool caps. You’re right, MP40 is where the money would be. ;)

no, when setting up the registration for discgolfscene. If they did a tiered registration, each tier needs to be defined as to who is allowed to register. If it is set to say, invitation only, then if you don't have to appropriate email, it won't process.

Hi Aubrey, yes for AM's we need T-shirt size, option to purchase for pros.
