What to Expect
Volunteering at our events has been a rewarding experience for many. Here are some testimonials:

"Spotting during the tourney was an incredibly awesome experience. Watching the pros make some fantastic shots and helping with maintaining the pace of play was very rewarding. For anyone who enjoys watching disc golf (like having a DGN subscription), it was a great experience. Waving the green flag was great - the red one, not so much!"

"Thanks so much for organizing the volunteers and making it a wonderful experience for everyone! Spotting was a great way to meet people from all over Canada and have a positive impact on their tournament experience. Everyone from juniors to top professionals were great to chat with and were always happy you knew where their disc was. For me, it was a great way to spend time before my round and see how different players attacked certain holes."

"This year, I played as well as spotted and wouldn't have done it any other way. Volunteering is just one small way to give back to the disc golf community. Over three days, I spotted at various holes on both courses, simply watching where the discs landed and placing a pin flag next to them. This was especially helpful when discs landed in the trees and hugely improved the speed of play. All of the players, pros and amateurs, were extremely grateful and actively expressed their appreciation."
