1st round TEE TIME is 8:30am. Please show up an hour or so before your tee time.

With pending rain we may have some players that do not make it out the morning of the event. I have seen this happen in the passed so we just want to make sure everyone is aware of that!!

If you get to your hole the morning of the event and there are only 2 people call the Tournament Director ASAP. Steve Stanley 713-888-0555. You must play with at least 3 people on your card during a PDGA event or you will be DQ'd from the round.

2nd round will start one hour after last card is turned in, posted on HDG FB PAGE and PDGA event page. We will share 2nd Round Hole Assignments as they become available.

All players will play 2 rounds of 23 holes.

AM Players be sure to pick up your players pack disc. They will be available when you arrive to the course.

Double Check Rules as there have been a couple of changes.

Its is the players responsibility to know and adhere to the rules.

Hole Rules:

*All concrete, concrete paths, fences, roads, and parking lots are OB.

1. Parking lot and beyond are OB. Ditch is casual.
2. There is no Mando on this hole.
3. Ditches and water are casual.
4. Ditch and water in front on basket are casual.
5. Creek water line and beyond are OB. Ditch behind basket plays casual.
6. Creek water line and beyond are OB.
7. Creek water line and beyond are OB. Street is OB.
8. Creek water line and beyond are OB.
9. Creek water line and beyond are OB.
10. Creek water line and beyond are OB.
11. Parking lot is OB. Ditch between 11 and 12 is casual.
12. Ditch is Casual. Parking lot and beyond is OB.
13. Skip the tee box and follow signs to the temporary tee box. Ditch to the left is casual. Fence is OB.
16. Fence line and beyond are OB
16a. Fence line and beyond are OB. Box that surrounds the cross is casual.
16b. Left of the painted white line and beyond are OB. Ditch beyond basket OB.
17. Inside painted lines of the swamp area are OB. Bridges are inbounds.
19. Baseball Fence line and beyond are OB. Marked left side of fairway and beyond are OB.
20. Island Green: Any throw from the Tee must come-to-rest on the Island Green. Throws from the Tee that don’t come-to-rest on the Island Green, must proceed to the Drop Zone with a penalty throw. All other throws use normal OB rules. If shot from Drop Zone does not come to rest on the island use normal OB rules.
21. Parking Lot is OB. Sidewalk and Beyond are OB. Soccer field to the right of the marked line is OB.

Houston Disc Golf would like to thank Windwood Presbyterian Church for partnering with us to make Windwood DGC a great local course and for their continued support of the local disc golf community!!

$1,000 total added- (minimum)

$500 to AM

Taking into consideration the gravity of the Covid situation, we are fully prepared to implement and include the following measures to promote, adhere and exceed suggested safety and social distancing protocol.

Cards will be shuffled between rounds according to score

Players must agree to score and submit scorecards digitally on the PDGA webpage.

This will require zero person to person contact.

6ft minimum distance rule -

We will repeatedly suggest all players adhere to this suggestion

Lunch separation -
Players will be encouraged and policed to stay distanced at lunch between rounds one and two.

Payouts for Pro divisions will be done via Paypal.

Payouts for amateur divisions will be handled as each division comes in. They will be handled 3 at a time in order from 1st to last. We will rope off an area and have players/patrons in that area distanced. Additionally, we will ask that players sanitize their hands (provided by us) before and after looking through the inventory.

Sales-
ALL onsite sales will be handled as above, 3 at a time and same distancing measures apply.

Spectators (are allowed) -
All above suggestions, especially the 6ft rule, will apply to spectators. We would love for area residents and players to come out and follow along with the areas best, provided its done in a safe manner.


ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN / PAYOUT SCHEDULE-
$3 pdga fee / $2 GHDGC fee
EVERYTHING ELSE GOES TO PAYOUT -
ALL DIVS are performance based payout on PDGA SANCTIONED C TIER payout scale - 45% AM / 40% Pro

WAITLIST -
We do not know the chances of a player getting in from the waitlist.
Tournaments have been filling up very fast so be prepared to get in early!!

ALL WAITLISTED PLAYERS THAT DO NOT GET IN WILL BE PROMPTLY REFUNDED POST EVENT

Gorilla Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

GDG refund policy-
GDG will refund any player in full (minus registration fees) if requested by email more than 72hrs before the start of event check-in.
GDG will refund any player in full (minus reg fees) up to 16hrs before check-in ONLY IF we can fill the spot.
ALL drops within 16 hours of the event- players will receive entry fee value in merchandise at vendors convenience.
No shows forfeit entry fees.

*exceptions can be made in certain circumstances.
