Let the pumpkin juice and butter beer flow, fall will soon be upon us again. That means it's time for Fairfield Hill Golf Course and Range's only annual PDGA sanctioned disc golf event so come take advantage of this beautiful 18-Hole course that exists for only two months a year. The field will be strictly limited to 72 competitors so claim your spot today.
There will be a minimum of one CTP/Long Putt/Closest to Tee contest on every hole! Some holes will have more than one. Prizes will include a BX3 Grip EQ bag, an INNOVA Excursion bag, and so much more!
The course will be available to play starting September 23rd beginning at 3pm each day weather permitting for $5. Please pay in the clubhouse upon arrival. The layout is available on U-Disc.
Upon check-in, the 4 players from each card will be sorted into one of the four houses and will accrue points for their respective house both by displaying their disc golf acumen and by competing in various side challenges. The players whose house has the most points at the end of the event will win the glory of the House Cup and a special prize.
Costumes are not required for this Magical, Halloween-themed event but they are encouraged as there will be a costume contest with prizes in multiple categories for the best ones! They do not need to fit the Wizard school theme, any costume is fine.
Lunch will be prepared by Fairfield Hills on site and can be purchased in advance when registering for $7 or at the event for $8. Drinks and snacks will also be available for purchase.
The top three finishers in each division will receive a trophy regardless of division size and players in divisions of one may choose to play uncontested for their division's first place trophy or to move to another division for which they're eligible.
All Amateur players will receive a player's pack.
The top 40% of each amateur division will receive a credit payout that will be useable with vendors present on site.
The top 45% of all Pro Divisions will receive cash payouts via PayPal unless otherwise requested.
Additional information on prizes and added cash will be shared as details are finalized. It is always our goal to provide an enjoyable, high value event to all players.
The pass through fees built into each competitor's registration fee include a $20 Greens Fee to cover the costs of closing the course for the day, the $2 Per Player Fee that goes to the PDGA, and a $2 TD Fee that helps cover costs incurred by our staff while running the event. Minimum cash and credit payouts will be calculated based on division size after deducting these pass-through fees.
The PDGA Live-Scoring system will be in use for this event to allow for swift tabulation of scores and shuffling of cards between rounds.
