FREEZEBEE Ice Bowl Open
About this tournament
The 11th Annual Metro Detroit FREEZEBEE Ice Bowl Event.
Out of 229 Ice Bowl events around the world last year, we raised the NINTH most money of any club totaling $6000 !!! In addition we gathered 3570 lbs of food !!! All delivered to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen on MLK day.
We've been collecting donations throughout the year but it's going to take a big push to reach $6000 again. So far this year we have raised $3267.00 and we are right at last year's pace so it can be done.
Players can bring in non-perishable food items to donate.
Players will receive a raffle ticket for every five cans of food brought in (limit 10 tix).
The player that brings the most canned food will win a special prize.
We will also take in cash donations.
Players will receive a raffle ticket for every $10 they raise (limit 10 tix).
The player who brings in the largest cash donation will also win a special prize.
Last year Derek Michalak raised $540 and was by far the one who raised the biggest monetary donation. Derek, along with many others raised funds via our donation form found here:

If someone surpasses Derek's $540 from 2012 they will win a special prize over and above the normal prizes stated above. Yes, you can consider this a bounty!
To feed the players, we will be featuring the 3rd annual FREEZEBEE CHILI COOK-OFF !
Bring a pot of chili, and if it's voted the best, you'll win a special prize!
If you are not a fan favorite of H O T chili, stay away from Jeff Schropp's homemade fire-breathing-inferno-flaming-nuclear-meltdown.
$5 Mulligans will be available for purchase. The max for Pro's is 3, and the max for AM's is 7.
