Are hole assignments going to be posted? They are not listed on the pdga site. Do we need to go to check in to know our hole?

They just did.

Ashlyn Tahlier    September 10, 2021 at 5:26pm

Sorry if this has been said somewhere but it’s not clear in the caddy book. What tee pad will we be using on hole 7 at Dexter?

It is in your players guide.

Terran Ferguson   September 11, 2021 at 1:04am

Are we playing to tee pad closest to the road?

Ralph Huntoon   September 11, 2021 at 4:27am

The concrete one

Ezra Gouge    September 10, 2021 at 4:22pm

The stipes around 2 are 30ft not 32.81 just a heads up

Thanks, that is the only one that has one and we will wipe it out. Nice catch

Dylan Hansen    September 10, 2021 at 5:55am

Alittle last minute but would anyone from the Forest Grove through the Beaverton area be able to help with a ride on Saturday morning? My car just gave up and id like to avoid dropping out as much as possible.

Where could we find some layouts/course notes?

Coming with virtual players meeting

Ralph Huntoon   September 9, 2021 at 5:50pm

Courses are in tournament layout.

Cloud Pemble   September 10, 2021 at 7:54am

You can go to the photos section and find a rudimentary rules/layout breakdown.

Scott Withers    September 9, 2021 at 4:41pm

Are the course layouts posted anywhere?

Ralph Huntoon   September 9, 2021 at 5:49pm

Virtual players meeting will contain layouts. Course are in tournament positions now.

I guess this message is for Jesse Everett. Are you still taking the reigns in terms of how the courses are laid out and the rules for this year’s layout? I have seen a few things out Dexter that I feel are problematic. Most likely there is work to be done, and these things have been solved, but I wanted to check in. I am trying to get Friday off, and could probably help out with stuff.

As far the line between 2&18 goes, I would suggest that it goes a far

Cloud Pemble   September 9, 2021 at 8:25am

into the forest as possible…the OB should be completely and totally defined

Ralph Huntoon   September 9, 2021 at 12:53pm

I'll see what I can do. As far as the mando, we have a spotter to determine whether a throw makes the mando, their word is final. It will be like the line referees under the goal posts in football. Hope that helps.

Will anything be done in regards to safety, specifically at Stewart Pond considering the amount of cars that have be vandalized and/or broken into lately there? I am concerned with the parking situation and where would be the safest place to park.
Thanks.

Parking for Stewart Pond will be the new paved parking lot, Food for Lane County's parking lot, and Chiller parking lot just for Saturday. Don't leave anything in sight in your car. I've never had a problem, but it pays to play it safe and not have anything visible.

Donny Delany   September 5, 2021 at 1:57am

Good info Ralph. Thanks!

Jeff Ballard   September 7, 2021 at 2:56pm

I've also never had an issue before. I also don't leave anything valuable visible in my ride.

Dana Burchett    September 4, 2021 at 2:54am

Is it required to be there and check in on Friday? Or can we check in on Saturday morning?

Rebecca Duffy   September 4, 2021 at 4:14am

Hello Dana! We will providing a number to text on Friday if you can't physically make it to check in . As far as player's packs for AMs, if they can't pick it up on Friday, they will have to wait until it is convenient for the staff on Saturday.

Hello Frank - Your tee off will be no later than 9am so you can plan your lunch :)

Adrian Thomas-Eikmann    August 12, 2021 at 4:07pm

Do you have an eta yet on when we’ll get word about camping?

Adrian Thomas-Eikmann   August 25, 2021 at 11:32pm

Any updates on this by chance? The folks I normally stay with down there have the delta so I’m definitely looking to camp.

Adrian Thomas-Eikmann   August 26, 2021 at 2:20am

Never mind; I see it was updated in the about section.

Tom Wray    July 15, 2021 at 10:23pm

You will be able to check in by text on Friday. Stay tuned for more details

Rebecca Duffy   July 15, 2021 at 11:07pm

Oops. I meant Saturday morning

Tom Wray   July 15, 2021 at 11:57pm

thank you

Ashlyn Tahlier    July 12, 2021 at 10:47pm

Are there seriously only 2 spots allotted for FPO now? What is the rush? Why not just provide more spots to begin with? There will always be a surplus of M players on the wait list to hand the spots over to in 2 months if it doesn't fill. I think many can agree that the idea of competing against only 1-2 players in a cash based field is not super encouraging.

Rebecca Duffy   July 12, 2021 at 11:12pm

There will be as many spots for women as necessary. I didn't change the cap. Ralph is very new to discgolfscene and he was changing caps to eliminate the waitlist. There will be more spots so let's get those ladies signed up:)

Rebecca Duffy   July 12, 2021 at 11:20pm

I changed the caps and I will again to accommodate more females.

Ashlyn Tahlier   July 14, 2021 at 1:32pm

Thanks for your response. Good to know it is flexible!

Dallas Ward    July 8, 2021 at 6:02am

I just registered for my first Tiered Tournament ever! Pretty excited to be a part of this event. I played in the Trilogy Challenge at Camp Taloali and felt like that was a great stepping stone to trying out a tiered tournament. I don’t yet have my PDGA membership, and will likely be getting one later at the end of the year. Will my results from the EC be retroactively added to my future PDGA membership? I saw something about a players pack. Where can I find out what comes in that pack? Thank you in advance.

Ralph Huntoon   July 8, 2021 at 10:50am

We will have more info on the player pack soon. At the moment it is a bag, a disc, and a shirt. Your results from this tournament will be part of your member history from today forward.

Zachary Crist   July 9, 2021 at 10:48pm

Hey Dallas, The results from this tournament won't automatically transfer to your PDGA after you register for it. I believe you can ask the PDGA to move those results onto your PDGA after you sign up for it, but I'm not 100% sure.

Dallas Ward   July 10, 2021 at 3:21am

Thank you for the info Ralph and Zachary

Brian Riley    July 8, 2021 at 3:02am

Also it's requiring an "emergency contact". Why?

If you play any Major tournament, this has become standard operating procedures. I have been a Marshal at many World Championships and I have seen a guy die of a heart attack without anyone to immediately contact until much later. I apologize that you feel like you're been treated like a child but I follow the PDGA and include this on all of my registrations.

Zachary Crist   July 8, 2021 at 4:09am

Why is this such an issue??? Lol??? It’s like 100+ degrees.

Zachary Crist   July 8, 2021 at 4:09am

if you don’t want to be treated like a child don’t act like one :)
