Hey Disc Golfers,


Thanks so much for an awesome event so far.  We wanted to go over a few things for tomorrow's final day.  


1st-

Tee times for Pool A and Pool B are posted as well as starting holes for Pool C.  Pool C will be another shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.  You can find all that information on the PDGA event page located here:

2nd-

We also have the payout document ready with the projected payout. There will be no physical copies of payout slips.  You will just look at the Google Doc and find how much you have.  You can find that information here:

3rd-

Once again we want to remind you that payout can only be picked up at the tent.  If you're local to our store in Northwest Arkansas, you can also pick it up there.  However, you can not get it online, through the mail, or at any other Dynamic Discs location.

Hello Disc Golfers!

Thanks so much for choosing to play the Jonesboro Open this weekend.  It means a lot to us.  It's been a crazy year and things aren't optimal but we have worked hard to get everything ready and we hope you all have a great time.  Please read this email in its entirety.  We will be updated everyone via email if we need to add anything or if something crazy happens.  

On to the details:

Pools and Course Schedule:
A Pool (MA1 and MA40)
B Pool (MA50 and MA2)
C Pool (Everyone else) 

Thursday: Player pack pick up starting at noon at Disc Side of Heaven

Friday Oct. 2nd- Player pack pick up all day at Discside Of Heaven.
Shotgun start for ALL POOLS at 9:00 a.m.

AN ALL DIGITAL EVENT:
There will no be "board" for this event.  All scores, hole assignments, start times, ect will be on the PDGA event page.  Your starting hole/tee time will be posted each night before 8:30 p.m.  

Score Keeping:
Each card will have 2 players keeping score.  One person will be keeping score on the PDGA digital scoring page.  A second player will keep score on a paper card.  The paper cards will come in your player pack.  This is just a checks and balances type thing.  The paper card does not need to be turned in!  It's just to double-check the player keeping the score on the PDGA scoring page.  EVERY CARD MUST KEEP A DIGITAL SCORECARD!!!  YOU'RE ENTIRE CARD WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF YOU DON'T!!!!!!!!!  CHARGE YOUR PHONE!  DON'T FORGET TO FINALIZE YOUR SCORE ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER!!!!!!To keep score on the PDGA scoring page, go to:

Water:
We still are not allowed to put out communal water jugs because of the PDGA COVID-19 Guidelines.  That means each player will be in charge of their own hydration.  Bring water and make sure you stay hydrated.  

Spectators for the Pro Side:
As of right now, the Pro Tour is still in Phase 1 of the restart.  This means no spectators.  However, we have worked with the Pro Tour to allow us to set up "Spectator Zones" where you can watch several holes from one roped off area.  You will be allowed to leave one zone and go straight to another with an escort from the volunteer working that zone.  You will not be allowed to follow the players from hole to hole. Please see the attached statement from the Disc Golf Pro Tour and Disc Side Of Heaven at the bottom of this email.  
 
Payout:
Payout will be done via the DD tent at Disc Side Of Heaven.  You must pick your payout up there.  Payout will not be available online or at any DD store.  We will have payout ready about 20 minutes after the last card for each division comes in on Sunday.  If you leave before you pick up your payout, you forfeit your payout.  We will not ship out payout.  Just to review the information we have already provided, here is a breakdown of where your money goes:

$50 went toward providing a player pack valued at $103
$5 went towards your PDGA player fee
$45 will go towards payout.  
(Junior divisions will be less because their entry fee was lower) 

Spectators for the Am Side:
Spectators and caddies will be allowed for the AM Side.  However, they are all asked to please be aware of the social distancing rules.  They must stay 6 feet away from the other players.  We are serious about this and if we notice someone not doing this, they will be asked to leave.  

OB Sheets:
OB sheets will be available in 3 different places.  OB will be listed on the digital scoring page, at the bottom of this email, and via paper when you pick up your player pack.  Please read the OB before you throw a hole.  If you have any questions about how to play a hole, play your provisional and bring it back to us after the round.
