Hey disc golfers!
We are just a few days away from the Razorbackology Open and I wanted to get some information out to you guys so you know what you're getting into. First, HUGE thanks to Razorbackology for stepping up to sponsor this event. We are excited to have them on board and hope that you use the hashtag #razorbackology for any pictures you take during the event. Also a huge shoutout to the Springdale Parks Department for letting us host the event at JBeast. On to the information! Please read all of this carefully:
Check-In-
Check-in will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the front deck of the Dynamic Discs Northwest Arkansas store. Here you will get your player pack, check your starting hole, and pick up your out of bounds sheet. PLEASE BE CHECKED IN BY 10:45 a.m. We will have two large player boards with all the starting holes on it. You will find your name and go to that hole to begin.
Tee Off-
We will tee off at 11:00 a.m. This means you are on your hole and ready to throw at 11:00 a.m. We will play 1 continuous round of 27 holes for the event.
Order Of Play-
Once you finish hole 18 on the big course, you will then walk over to the Jr Course. After you play hole 9 on the Junior Course, you will proceed back to the big course to hole 1. No matter what hole you start on, this will be the order of play.
Payout-
The payout will be posted as soon as possible. Please don't bother the tournament directors about the payout. They will let you know when it's ready. If you want it credited to your store account, you can just leave and it will go there. If you need your payout that day, you will have to wait until all scores are tallied and the payout is figured out.
Ace Pot-
If no one makes an ace, we will throw off for the ace pot. If you're in the ace pot, please make sure someone has hit an ace before you leave. If you leave before the throw off, you forfeit your ace pot money to the throw off.
Water-
Because of COVID-19 we are not allowed to put out communal water stations. This means you will need to bring your own water for the event. It's a long round so please bring plenty.
Masks-
Masks will need to be worn anytime you're in the store. However, while you are playing the event you do not have to wear your mask. Please be aware of the social distancing rules and avoid contact with other players equipment, high fives, ect.
