Hey everyone. I hope this finds everyone healthy and happy. Thanks for signing for the Persimmon Ridge Revival this weekend. It means a lot to us to have you come out and help us test this disc golf event while using some social distancing. Hopefully, we can all go back to being one big happy family soon but until then, we will have to adapt to new rules and regulations and this will be a good trial run. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS EMAIL. IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS WEEKEND
1. The tournament layout should be ready by 10:00 a.m. on Friday. You're welcome to come rent a cart, pay green fees, and play a practice round. Doubles will begin at 1:00 p.m. and go until dark on Friday. Doubles are $30 per team with a Pro and Am divisions. $5 per player goes to gree fees. DOUBLES WILL BE PLAYED FROM THE SHORT PADS. Sign up for doubles will be day of at the event center.
2. Saturday morning the event will begin at 9:00 a.m. That means you are at your hole, ready to throw at 9:00 a.m. The board will be out at the event center by 7:00 a.m. Please take your scorecard, OB Sheet, and map with you when you head to your hole.
3. The CDC and PDGA have recommended we don't do communal water stations. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN WATER FOR THIS EVENT!!!!!! There may be water and Gatorade for sale at the event center but don't count on it.
4. Please make an effort to stay 6 feet apart from your competitors. We are trying to take this serious and anyone intentionally violating this is subject to disqualification.
5. Please don't touch your competitors' equipment. We are trying to take this serious and anyone intentionally violating this is subject to disqualification.
6. After the first round, 1 person from each card needs to bring the scorecard to the event center and turn it in. Otherwise, don't congregate around the event center.
7. There will be no lunch served in the event center. In fact, the event center will be closed with the exception of the restrooms. We will try to allow as much time as possible for everyone to get to town, get lunch, and get back in time. We will post the second round tee time on the Facebook event page as soon as we know what it is.
8. After the second round, if no one has hit an ace, we will do an ace pot throw off. PLEASE DO NOT STAND AROUND THE DECK UNTIL YOUR NAME IS CALLED FOR THE ACE POT THROW OFF!!!! Wait around the parking lot until you hear your name.
9. After the event is over we go home. If you're playing in a pro division, you will receive your payout via Paypal. If you're playing in an Am division and you want DDNWA store credit, you can go home. We will add it to your account. If you're playing in an AM division and you want payout from the RV, we will form a line and get you paid out. There is no reason to congregate after the event is over. I will post all scores on Sunday for everyone to see. I know everyone wants to know where they finished but I promise you'll know as soon as I can get to them.
10. Finally, IF YOU ARE SICK PLEASE STAY HOME!!!! We can easily issue you a refund.
