NEW for 2019!
Competitors who win their local bracket but do not win their state bracket will have the opportunity to come to Emporia! We will have a stroke play tournament on Thursday, June 20 for all these competitors to qualify for any available empty slots in the national bracket that begins Friday, June 21. For example, if there are 58 state winners, that leaves 6 open slots in our bracket of 64. The top six scores will determine who will make the national bracket. Ties will be played off if necessary.

Also new for 2019, state bracket winners will receive $1,000 in store credit at the Dynamic Discs retail store, instead of the $500 cash provided last year.

In addition to the B-Tier scheduled on Saturday, there will also be a flex start C-Tier scheduled for both Friday and Sunday for competitors not moving through the bracket.

This year, we will offer up to 16 unreleased Latitude 64 Opto Moonshine Keystones per bracket at $10 each for local and state TDs.

Who?
Current PDGA member guidelines – Disc golfers rated 969 or below as of January 1, 2019. All amateur disc golfers can play regardless of their rating (even if it is above 969). New members who do not have a current PDGA rating are also eligible to compete.
Non-current PDGA members – Disc golfers who have never been rated 970 or above.
Non-PDGA members – Disc golfers who are not current PDGA members or are so new to the PDGA that they do not have a rating are eligible to play in the event.

What?
Local USAMPC singles qualifier match play brackets will be held throughout the United States and Canada in April. A list of these events can be found on the UDisc app (coming soon!). Players that meet the qualifications described above can pay $45 to compete in one of these brackets. The Local Qualifying Bracket may be conducted over a few days or over the period of a few weeks. Players will receive a Dynamic Discs Lucid-X Escape and Latitude 64 Zero Medium Keystone in their player pack. If a player advances to the next levels, there are not additional entry fees. Winners of Local Qualifying Brackets will move on to the State/Province Bracket. Winners of the State/Province Bracket will move on to the Championship Bracket in Emporia, Kansas (June 20-23, 2019).

Championship Bracket in Emporia, Kansas – June 20-23, 2019

Where?
Bracket TDs will establish the locations for the Local Qualifying Brackets matches.
The Championship Bracket will be hosted in Emporia, Kansas.

Why?
Match play is an exciting way to compete as a disc golfer. Match play has grown in popularity and the unique format provides an opportunity for using a different strategy than what disc golfers typically employ playing traditional stroke play. The event also allows amateurs another opportunity to experience tournament disc golf at the highest level.

Players that win their State/Province Championship Bracket will be provided the following:

$1000 store credit upon arrival
Free entry into a two round stroke play B-Tier on Saturday, June 22 for the 54 players that will not advance to play on Saturday.

Awards for Championship Bracket in Emporia

FIRST PLACE – $14K VALUE

18 Veteran baskets and 18 tee signs to be used wherever the champion wants! ($8K value)
Dynamic Discs will ship 18 portable or permanent Veteran baskets and 18 tee sign frames to the champion. These baskets could be donated to a local park that needs new baskets, they could go towards a new course (public or private), or any other creative place the champion chooses!

Discs for Life ($6K value) – Life sounds better than 10 years. It is really 10 years.
Dynamic Discs will provide the champion with a $1,000 credit at dynamicdiscs.com. On the first of each year (from 2020-2029), $500 will be added to the champion’s dynamicdiscs.com account to be used on discs and merchandise.

SECOND PLACE – $5K VALUE
