About this tournament
Duck Golf #5 - Salt Spring Golf and Country Club - Extended Layout:
Expect fun and challenge from each of the 3 layouts scaled to your pain tolerance. Many of the longest shots you can throw and risk/reward putting galore. Hopefully, you will be pushed to the edge of your potential. There are some tweaks on the Salt Spring Fling 2024 layout, as is tradition.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- 2 rounds. PDGA Sanctioned Singles Tournament
- Shotgun start 9:15 AM
- Limited spots of 78 players per day.
FERRY CONNECTIONS!
Getting to SSI on the morning of the 2nd:
!!! The ONLY ferry that can get you to SSI on the morning of the 2nd is the 7:40 AM from Crofton to Vesuvius!!!
The ferry from Swartz Bay will not be early enough.
Leaving SSI after the Tournament:
To Swartz Bay - 7:00PM and 9:00PM (No Booking)
To Crofton - 6:05PM and 7:55PM (No Booking)
Long Harbour - IMPOSSIBLE! Last boat is at 3:30PM
For anyone coming from Vancouver, or returning, remember that you can travel via Crofton/Vesuvius and drive to Nanaimo to travel home (Yes Bookable). This would be my recommendation for returning to Vancouver on Sunday Night. 6:05 to Crofton, and book a ferry from Nanaimo for 8PM-9PM. This would be an easy connection to make.
