About this tournament

Celebrate St. Patty's Day at Disc Golf Resort!
Dropkick Mulligans is a 1-round NON-SANCTIONED tournament on the Red Course with lower divisions playing from the shorter Green tees (MA4, FA4, MJ15, FJ15).
We'll have St. Patty's Day decorations, drink specials, and other extras (like Mulligans!) to help celebrate the holiday and raise funds for added cash payouts for the NXNW B-Tier tournament in May 2023.
Trophies will be awarded to the 1st place winner in each division and Ams will receive Player Packs as well as payouts in Scrip to the Kayak Point Pro Shop.
Registration through discgolfscene.com is required.
---------------------------
ENTRY FEES:
Entry fee of $47/player includes:
PROS
- discounted day pass ($12)
- cash payouts via PayPal for Pros ($35)
AMS
- discounted day pass ($12)
- scrip, pro shop store credit ($15)
- player's pack ($20, $40+ retail value)
Optional CTP buy in= $3
Optional Ace Pot = $2 (Ace pot is at $1000!)
Optional Mulligans, up to 3 at $5 each
Optional Commemorative T-Shirt (unisex, green or black, see pics, available by pre-order only during registration) = $20
---------------------------
MULLIGANS & RAFFLE:
All players will automatically receive 1 Mulligan ticket which can be used during the round to cancel-out a single throw. Up to 3 additional Mulligan tickets may be purchased during registration or on the morning of the event in the Pro Shop for $5 each.
After any throw, you may choose to use a Mulligan ticket by declaring "Mulligan" before the next player has thrown and within 30 seconds after you throw. Once "Mulligan" has been declared, you must present a Mulligan ticket and tear it in half so their cardmates can witness it. You then disregard the initial throw and throw a new shot which must be used for your next lie. There are no other limits as to when a Mulligan can be used beyond the above, whether it's a tee shot or a putt, or even multiple Mulligans back to back on the same hole. But, they must be used at the time of the shot. You cannot turn in Mulligans after completing holes to deduct strokes. Mulligan tickets are non-transferable (you can't give one to someone else for them to use).
Why not make sure to use them all up to save as many strokes as possible during the round? Because once you've completed your round and turned in your scorecard, unused Mulligan tickets may be turned in for a RAFFLE for a brand new Axiom Lite disc golf basket and 1 disc from our special collection in THE VAULT.
Plus, since Live Scoring will not be used, players won't know the scores of their competition during the round, or the final score they would need to beat to win their division. Final scores will be shared once all players have completed their rounds.
Mulligan shots can not be used to claim the Ace Pot. Only first throws count for the Ace pot. A player can score an ace with a Mulligan throw, but not claim the Ace Pot.
---------------------------
PLAYER'S PACK:
All AM players will receive a player's pack that includes a custom stamped premium plastic Discraft disc and 16 oz. pint glass which feature the tournament artwork created by Brian McCormick. Players will get to choose their disc from the options available during player check-in, or after their round.
---------------------------
DIVISIONS:
A wide range of divisions will be offered for this event including mixed, female, and age protected divisions.
---------------------------
TEE TIMES:
Flex start; players will choose a card / tee time between 9 am to 1pm during registration. Cards of up to 4 players can include players competing in a mix of divisions. All cards must have a minimum of 3 players. All cards will begin their round on hole 1.
Player’s must check-in inside the Clubhouse at least 15-minutes prior to their tee time to pick up their card's paper scorecard and Mulligan tickets.
---------------------------
SCORING:
All cards will receive a paper scorecard to fill out as the round is played. Following the round, scores should be confirmed by all players, totaled up, and turned in to staff in the Pro Shop.
Since this is a non-sanctioned event, PDGA Live Scoring WILL NOT be available. All cards should do a back-up scorecard in case something happens to the official paper scorecard.
Final scores will be shared once all scores have been confirmed and submitted.
---------------------------
ACE POT:
Mulligans may not be used to claim the Ace Pot. Only first throws count for the Ace pot. No Aces were hit during the previous tournament for which DGR was the Tournament Director (TD), December Doubles, so the Ace Pot rolls over to this event. The $1,000 cap has been achieved, so $1,000 is set aside for the first Ace and a Back Up Ace Pot continues to grow. If an Ace is not hit during this event, all Ace Pot funds will continue to roll over to the next tournament with DGR staff as the TD.
---------------------------
PLAYER CHECK-IN:
Players should check-in inside the clubhouse at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time to get their paper scorecard and pick up their mulligan tickets. Ams can also pick up their player packs before their round, or after.
