About this tournament

The Downtown Throwdown is back for its fourth year. In this unique event, players will take on two temporary 18 hole courses throughout downtown Jasper, AL. Amateurs will receive a player pack valued at over $100. THIS EVENT IS TROPHY ONLY.

Everyone will receive a full course map with the OBs on the back.

Course A Pool starts on the red course.
Course B Pool starts on the blue course.

The tee signs will be the same as the individual hole pages in the player book.

PLAYER PARTY is set for Friday evening/night. We will be at Tournament Central from 5pm–7pm (possibly 8pm) for early check in. A 10 hole par 2 course will be set up between our two sposoring breweries, Tallulah Brewing Company at 1800 4th Ave. and Twisted Barley Brewing at 520 19th St W. The cost is $10 per round and you must have a minimum of 3 players in a group to play. There will be plenty of single riders around to help fill the groups. You can start at either brewery and after you play your first 5 hole, stop at the other brewery to pick up you scorecard for the next 5 holes.
There will be a men's and a women's division.
We will have vouchers for payouts for all the winners to pick up on Saturday at the Downtown Throwdown or Sunday at the Birdie and the Beast.

Refund policy

Grip-n-Rip DGC is responsible for all refunds/cancelations.
Full refunds will be given until 5-11-18 at 5pm with no fee. After that a $10 processing fee will be charged for withdrawals until 5-16-18 at 5pm. Any withdrawals after this time will receive a 50% refund or player pack owed (based on TD discretion or availability).
-All dependent on if spot is filled.
