Doubles and Bubbles 2023
About this tournament
The perfect way to spend the last day of the year.
Two rounds of doubles on the standard 12 hole layout of park Oudegein.
Bring a doubles partner or come alone and we will find you a doubles partner.
Time schedule:
9:30 Arrival of players
Please come in time so we can make teams, assign holes etc.
10:15 Start of round 1.
Round 1: a mix of best shot and worst shot doubles.
Best shot: holes 1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 (the slightly longer ones)
Worst shot: holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12 (the short ones)
12:00- 12:30 Start of round 2.
Round 2 Diabolic doubles.
In Diabolic doubles your next lie is the point in between where both of your discs have landed. To determine the next lie both players walk to their disc and subsequently walk towards each other. Where they meet, that's the spot.
So if the first drive lands 20 meters to the left of the basket make sure your doubles partner throws 20 meters to the right of the basket to give you a tap in putt.
The position for an OB disc is where you would play from in normal disc golf. Determine the in between spot from that position. If both discs are OB you get a OB stroke.
You finish a hole by throwing a disc in the basket.
