Doomsday Demolition (Fort Wayne)

Doomsday Discs is a disc golf brand that was created with your survival in mind. Make no mistake, when the end of modern society comes, there’s nothing we can do to help you. But you can help yourself by throwing excellent discs while civilization still stands, and by building a stockpile of premium plastic for the apocalypse. When there’s nothing left to do but pass the time scavenging for food and throwing discs through incredible dystopian landscapes, you’ll be glad that you have prepared with a great collection of top-quality discs. Don’t fall behind in the race to acquire provisions. The hoarding of necessities begins on November 6, 2022 at Northside Park.

The Doomsday Demolition is a three-disc flex start challenge. Your player’s pack will include everything you need to survive the end of times. You will be provided a Dystopia Driver (10 / 5 / -2 / 2), Frag Mid-Range (5 / 2 / 0 / 5), and a Land Mine Putter (2 / 2 / 0 / 2) upon check-in (see Videos section for a review of each). Your survival skills will be tested using ONLY these unique tools.

The competition for survival will commence over two consecutive rounds at Northside Park, totaling one 18-hole round to prove your worth to your peers in the impending post-apocalyptic society. Doomsday prize packs will be provided to the winners of each division, and depending on the fruits of our scavenging, prizes may be in store for additional placements. An ace pot will be available for a $3 contribution to the cause (the pot will be rationed equally among all those fortunate enough to have this level of mastery of their tools), because what good is cold hard cash in the cold hard reality of a nuclear holocaust? Further, a 50/50 CTP for a $2 buy-in will be available as last-ditch effort to prove your survival skills. Additional CTPs TBD, but details will be provided at check-in.

While Armageddon may be lawless, there must be some rules in place to prevent society from descending into chaos prematurely. As such, please note the below:

Scores can be kept on paper or UDisc, but please ensure all cardmates are in agreement prior reporting the final scores at the check-in table.
