Dog Days Doubles
About this tournament
Every participant receives a player pack disc with a custom stamp. This year the disc will be a metal flake MD3 with the 2023 “Dog Days Doubles” logo.
Both rounds will be played on the same 20-Hole custom layout used Friday, which rotates through all 4 standard layouts, plus two temp holes using both top-of-the-world shots.
Best-shot doubles the first round. How best-shot works: Teams choose the best lie each time to throw their next shots from and both players throw from that lie until the hole is completed. Both players must throw from the same lie, so if you throw first don’t forget to leave your disc/marker in place until after your partner throws! In the event a lie is picked up, it’s a group decision to determine the approximate lie for the second player’s throw. No penalty.
Second round, you will be playing BEST SCORE doubles format. How best score works: You play it like a singles round. Every player plays their own lie. Upon completion of the hole, record only the best score between you and your doubles partner.
Cost is $60 per team or $30 per player. But wait!! Did one player from the team play in Friday’s 4-disc flex start? Boom! $10 off your team entry fee! ($50) Did both teammates play in Friday’s event? Boom! $20 off the team entry fee! ($40). Make sure to check all the right boxes when you register.
BONUS!! Everyone who plays in both events will be entered for a chance to win one of two uDisc Pro account subscriptions!! Already paid for uDisc Pro? No worries! Save the code for next season!
