About this tournament

2/27/21 Announcement: We were able to add additional spots to the following divisions: MA1, FA1, MA60, MA2, MA3, FA3. We were only able to add 4 more spots per division, but this did free up some additional spots that are available for registration NOW for FA1 and FA3 players!
This will be the 39th annual Discraft Great Lakes Open. The tournament will take place at the Black Locust courses at Kensington Metropark and the Monster Course at Hudson Mills. All AM players will play three rounds over three days of competition. All divisions will play each course once and all rounds will utilize tee times. All players will receive a $200 player pack. Top AM players will also receive payout vouchers to be used at the Ledgestone Shop.
Here is the tentative player's pack:
-3 Discraft Discs (including a Limited Edition Wasp Tooled Buzzz SS)
-Discraft draw string bag
-Buzzz stamped disc golf stool
-GRIP6 DGLO belt
-Tournament hat
-Shirt
-Tube of Zanfel
-Pair of Tomahawk sunglasses
AM Note: AM players playing the A Tier event will be given a pass to spectate at Toboggan as part of their player's pack.
Course Order for Pools:
Pool B (MA1, MA40, FA1): Black Locust Green, Black Locust Blue, Hudson Mills Monster
Pool C (MA2, MA50, MA60): Hudson Mills Monster, Black Locust Green, Black Locust Blue
Pool D: (MA3, MA4, FA2, FA3): Black Locust Blue, Hudson Mills Monster, Black Locust Green
Layouts, including what tees and pin positions will be used, will be announced at a later date. Divisions such as MA1/MA40/MA2 can expect to play a longer layout at the courses, while divisions such as MA3/MA4/FA2/FA3 can expect to play slightly shorter layouts at the three courses.
Hudson Mills and Kensington Metroparks do require a pass to enter the parks. No additional fees will need to be paid by the players (such as the $3 disc golf fee at Hudson Mills) as those fees are being covered by the event.
