Three quick notes for this upcoming tournament.

First, we will be using the PDGA's live scoring system for this tournament. Players will use their smart devices to keep score. Starting holes will be set on Friday night but we are still asking everybody to check in at Tournament Central on the morning of the tournament to collect their Great Lakes Disc voucher and so we can know who is and isn't in attendance.

Secondly, Players will be emailed the player meeting notes on Friday Night. This will replace the traditional players meeting and include course rules, procedures and the access code for the PDGA live scoring. Emails will be sent out to the email that your Disc Golf Scene account is registered through. A few paper copies will be available on the morning of the tournament.

Finally, registration will close at 5:00 PM Friday Night. Players will not be able to receive a refund if they withdraw from the registration list after that time. Any player on the waitlist will receive a full refund.

Amateur Players Accepting Cash

If an Amateur player accepts cash payouts for placing in a pro division, they will be classified as a professional by the PDGA. The player in question may still compete in amateur divisions at PDGA sanctioned A, B and C tier tournaments so long as their player rating falls within the requirements for their division (see: Pros Playing Am https://www.pdga.com/files/divisions_ratings_and_points_factors_10-31-2019.pdf). However those players are not eligible to play in Amateur divisions in PDGA Majors such as, but not limited to Am Worlds or The US Amateur Disc Golf Championship (source: https://www.pdga.com/faq/pdga-tour/accepting-cash-and-playing-in-amateur-divisons).

If you are an Amateur competing in the Gold division and would like to accept merchandise payouts to Great Lakes Disc instead of cash, please contact the Tournament Staff BEFORE the beginning of the first round so arrangements can be made. Anybody who does not clarify this before the beginning of the tournament will be given cash payouts at the end of the tournament.
