Any courses not cart friendly?

Johnnie Harrison   April 27, 2018 at 2:11am

They should all be good- of course you wont want a cart for sunset because you will be using a golf cart

Today is the last day to reserve a room at the host hotel in Pekin. $65 a night for the Motel 6 on Court St about a mile from Sunset Hills!

Call 888-217-1426 and ask for Illinois Amateur Disc golf block

To the tournament director Johnnie Harrison.
I will be unable to participate in your tournament (which pisses me off) due to Air BnB
snafu. I understand I will be getting the player pack instead of a refund. I am hoping basket is part of
the player pack. Again... I really was looking forward to the event. as I was thinking about signing up
for Ledgestone and this tournament would help me prepare for Ledgestone.

I prefer to compete against 25 competitors and not 3, that is my right- not your convenience- thank you!

Johnnie Harrison   April 25, 2018 at 2:37pm

The multiples of 4 work best for carts at Sunset was the reason. We usually have a requirement of 4 to have a division. I can switch you was just asking if you might stay. NOt a huge deal at all just a simple request

Seth Friedrich   April 25, 2018 at 11:29pm

oh my.

Billy Ray Osborn    April 24, 2018 at 1:15pm

Johnnie can you move me to Advanced please. Thank You

I'm kidding anyway. I like what your doing.

Johnnie Harrison   April 25, 2018 at 2:40pm

You have been switched Meg, I simply asked if you could stay because multiples of 4 work best for carts and we require 4 to have a division. I have switched you. Billy's was an easy switch because we already only had 3 and I will probably be asking thsoe left in that Div to move as well.

Seth Friedrich   April 27, 2018 at 8:07pm

The weather is supposed to be cool and calm this weekend. Let’s all try to be more like the weather how bout

Joseph Quinn    April 23, 2018 at 11:46pm

Hey Johnie Harrison, can I get refunded for the tournament please? I'm not going to be able to attend due to a medical injury I have recently obtained. How will the Refund work? Thanks for the help!

I thought ALL age protected divisions would be playing the red tees at Sunset? It has now changed?? What is Nate in charge??? lol

Johnnie Harrison   April 23, 2018 at 1:10am

I am now changing you to Pool C with Novice, and Women- Red tees

Ryan Rickard    April 21, 2018 at 3:14pm

Are all layouts currently in tournament setup? All Shorts?

Johnnie Harrison   April 23, 2018 at 1:32am

Yes they are allset up, Northwoods is all shorts, McNaughton is Original Shorts (where there is a tee sign/post), Sunset is Blues for MA1&2&3 (Pools A&B) Everyone else plays Red Tees at Sunset

William Nielsen    April 20, 2018 at 1:42am

Can I check in Saturday morning? I’d register rite now if that’s possible.

Seth Friedrich   April 20, 2018 at 1:58am

You most certainly can! You'll just have to go to the Plastic Addicts shop to pick up your practice basket and player pack. Check back here and on the FB tournament page for Pool/Division assignments, as some will change after registration closes

Johnnie Harrison   April 20, 2018 at 2:11am

Yes you can, what Seth said^*^

Michael Brugger    April 10, 2018 at 8:33pm

I can’t make it to check in on Friday. So I just need to be at my course a few min before players meeting and I’m good ??

Johnnie Harrison   April 12, 2018 at 9:16pm

You will want to be there at least a half hour prior to tee off

Michael Kristler    April 8, 2018 at 8:40pm

I'd like to move down to novice division. Usually play rec and was going to play up to play with friends but my play has been so poor I should probably start playing my rating. Thanks

Johnnie Harrison   April 10, 2018 at 4:43pm

Looks like you were able to edit the division yourself! See you soon

Christian Doman    March 3, 2018 at 4:30am

Will there be a tentative schedule for the rounds soon? With three courses being used, are all divisions playing all three courses? How many total rounds will be played?

Thank you for the info. I'm looking forward to the event!

Chris Pilarski   April 6, 2018 at 1:30pm

So it will be 2 courses Saturday, then one course Sunday with a potential final 9?

Seth Friedrich   April 6, 2018 at 4:43pm

That is correct. Rounds 1 & 2 will be played on Saturday, Round 3 on Sunday morning, and then a Final 9 at Sunset Hills for the top 4 in each division of 12 or more

Stanley Filczer    February 28, 2018 at 8:06pm

I’m trying to work out a budget for this event. I was wondering if there is a fee for the doubles round on Friday.

Johnnie Harrison   March 17, 2018 at 6:12pm

Yes sir there is. Brian is running that part but I would imagine somewhere in the $20 range per person

Ken Long    February 26, 2018 at 12:16pm

Will all divisions be playing on the same course (Sunset Hills)? I noticed two other courses in the mix. McNaughton and North Woods.

Seth Friedrich   February 26, 2018 at 3:07pm

Currently the plan is for each division to play each course once, with a Final 9 at Sunset Hills for the top 4 in each division of 12 or more players. If the event fills (or comes close) we will add a fourth course (Bradley) for MA4, MA3, and Women's Division. In that scenario one of the other courses would be left off. This will de-populate the courses somewhat and allow for fewer back-ups.

Ken Long   February 27, 2018 at 12:12am

Thanks Seth.

Stanley Filczer    February 19, 2018 at 9:27pm

Is check in going to be on Friday the 27th or Saturday morning?

Stanley Filczer   February 20, 2018 at 1:46am

So I don’t have to be there for check in to play?

Seth Friedrich   February 20, 2018 at 7:45pm

correct, if you can't make it to check-in you can still play.

Stanley Filczer   February 20, 2018 at 9:08pm

Thanks for the info, see you in April

Ken Long    February 14, 2018 at 2:58am

hi Johnnie. Stupid question. I saw your response to B. Bennetts comment about player packs. Are the Chainstar Lite baskets full size baskets? I have never been in a tournament where all players received a full sized basket as part of the player pack. Thanks.

Johnnie Harrison   February 14, 2018 at 2:24pm

This is correct Ken. You will recieve a full size basket and this is the first time this has been done to my knowledge! It is a quality practice basket with a retail value of around $150

[member not found]   February 14, 2018 at 5:33pm

wow!!! awesome.

Ken Long   February 15, 2018 at 2:37am

Wahoo!!! Thanks Johnnie.

Johnnie Harrison    February 13, 2018 at 9:48pm

Brad, all players will receive a Chainstar Lite Basket, putter (tbd), a shirt from Paragon, green Fees at Sunset for the tournament along with cart fees.
