- Clash at The Canyons VI -

Clash at The Canyons was established in 2017 as one of the first premier events at The Canyons. Clash has been played at The Canyons exclusively for the last four years. The tournament has experimented with layouts pushing the envelope year after year. The Clash XXL layout from the last two years has started to make a name for itself. This safari layout of some of the best available holes at Dellwood to bring you the challenge you’re looking for. We have also listened to feedback from other divisions and are now offering a Shorter XXL layout from the White Tees for the MP50, MP40 and FPO divisions that will play much closer to par for them. As TD and owner of the onsite Pro shop, Dellwood Disc Golf, Tournament Director Sean Callahan’s goal is to bridge the gap between the community and Top Tier disc golf events. We are excited to yet again bring you the stage and challenge of Clash at The Canyons. Join us July 22nd-24th Weekend!

Clash at the Canyons VI is a Pro Only A-tier at The Canyons at Dellwood Park on Friday, Saturday, Sunday July 22nd, 23rd, and 24th

Clash will be a 3-day, 1 round per day event with tee times each day.

$10,000+ added cash across all Open divisions.

Divisions available: MPO, FPO, MP50, MP40

Friday July 22nd: MPO will be playing the XXL layout.
MP50, MP40, and FPO will be playing the shorter version of the XXL layout

Saturday July 23rd: MPO will be playing the XXL layout.
MP50, MP40, and FPO will be playing the shorter version of the XXL layout.

Sunday July 24th: MPO will be playing the XXL layout.
MP50, MP40, and FPO will be playing the shorter version of the XXL layout.

Pro Payouts will be sent electronically through PayPal after the tournament.

Award ceremony for each division will take place approximately a half hour after the last card for your division is turned in for the day.

You may also stay in the Dellwood Disc Golf parking lot overnight, please be respectful of the neighbors.

All competitors may use the gym and shower facilities for free at Challenge Fitness 2021 Lawrence Ave Lockport. The facilities are located on the other side of Dellwood Park. Must show credentials at front desk. Monday-Friday: 5:00 am – 10:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 am – 6:30 pm

GREATER JOLIET TOUR SERIES INFORMATION BELOW!! (Information for local players who are playing the Tour Series)

Clash at The Canyons is a 3 day A Tier sanctioned event at The Canyons at Dellwood Park and is the third of six events in the Greater Joliet Tour Series!

Saturday and Sunday March 19th and 20th (2 Day event, 1 - 18 hole round each day)

Sammy's Linqs and Drinqs will be on site for all GJTS events serving lunch!

Each of the GJTS events will also have a Fundraising Flex Start C Tier on the Thursday or Friday before the event. This gives you an opportunity to practice and get another sanctioned round for the weekend! Each Flex Start will be $5 with a optional $5 ace pot!

How the GJTS Points system works:

1. You will receive 5 points for attending the event.
2. You will receive 1 point for every person you beat in your division (excluding ties).
3. There is a change this season! If you are rated out of your division and have to move up a division you will be able to transfer 50% of your points to your new division. This only applies if you are moving up a division, you CAN NOT take points with you if you are moving down a division.

Greater Joliet Tour Series Finals

You are fighting your way through this Tour Series and earning points to be able to compete in the GJTS Finals! The top 4 finishers (including ties for 4th place) we compete in an unsanctioned CASH PAYOUT round at Trinity Links on Sunday October 30th. This is a WINNER TAKE ALL payout format! Winner of each division in the GJTS Finals will be taking home $400 cash! That's enough to cover the registrations from the entire GJTS! We will still be awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers with trophies!

Your division will need at least 3 participants in it to be considered for the event. If your division does not have at least 3 participants you will be asked to move to another division (suitable for your rating) if there is a spot available. If there is not a spot available you will be refunded.

Dellwood Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
