What a perfect day for disc golf. Weather was ABSOLUTELY spot on. WE appreciate all 144 of you for coming out to play Daywalker's Doubles. We hope you had a good time, meet some great people, and created some positive memories. Thank you to the Team WC Glow members who came out to help....your efforts made the day run very smooth!

We had a few items turned in at lost and found. If it was a disc, I will text numbers penned on the disc. Let me know if you lost something, I am happy to check the items we have.

Congratulations to all our divisional winners....for those of you that were out of there early, we had an EPIC Battle in the MA4 divisions which featured a 7-hole playoff.

Our 50-50 was earned by Samantha Roberts and the ace pool went home with Phil Common, as he SMASHED the ace on the throw-off. We had two CTP winners, who earned some great Mythic Disc Golf apparel (THANK YOU Chip and Mythic for sponsoring those two CTPs). Visit Mythic at www.mythicdiscgolf.com. They have some really great items available.

Scores are posted on PDGA. Working on getting a few things straightened out on the TD report (doubles events are a little more involved than singles on the reporting end). Hope to have those cleaned up this evening.

Event reminders:

Player meeting video/message will be shared with you this afternoon/evening. We are using PDGA scoring for the event. Please make sure your phones are charged and charge them between rounds as well.

Check-in will take place at the pavilion from 8:15-9:30 (you really want to be checked in before 9:30 to make sure you can make it to your starting hole). I will have the tentative hole assignments up this evening. Please check tomorrow closer to the start of round 1 in the event a change is needed due to a drop or other unforeseen circumstances.

We are encouraging you to stay at the park to avoid being delayed getting back in for round 2 (and potentially missing your starting time). The concession stand at Blue Heron Bay will be open for your lunch time convenience. Packing your lunch for between rounds is another good option as well.

The bathrooms at Blue Heron Bay will be open for your use.

Event has filled and a few teams on the waitlist. Thank you for your time interest in the event.

Important Reminder:
Since this event will take place during water park opening weekend, we were told that discgolfers should NOT plan to leave during lunch (to avoid waiting on the line to enter park and potentially missing the start of round 2….I was also told that even though you had previously entered people can not jump the line).

Concession stand will be open at the water park. Snack bar I believe will also be open at the back of the park. Or bring a bagged lunch.

As our event registration continues to expand, I created two Pools to make sure that we have divisions that can be accommodated on each of the two courses and that an entire division plays together on the same course for each round.

As we near the event, there is a chance a division may switch pools if it can help balance out the number of players on each course.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING LUNCH BREAK:

Since this event takes place on Memorial Day weekend, this is the same weekend that the park typically opens the water park. Since they expect HEAVY traffic in the park, I was told that Disc Golfers SHOULD NOT leave the park during lunch. They expect a decent line at the booth and even though you had previously entered, you would not be permitted to jump the line if you leave.

STAY AT THE PARK FOR LUNCH.

I was told the concession stand at Blue Heron Bay Water Park would be open. I also expect that the snack bar at the Beach Center to be available as well (waiting on confirmation on specific menu details, but will post that information as soon as I have it)

You of course are also welcome to bring your own lunch as well.

EVERYONE:
There will be NO in-person player meeting. I will sending details regarding the event hopefully tomorrow afternoon/evening. BOTH members of your team need check-in on Saturday. Am players will be able to select your player pack.
