About this tournament
2 rounds of play
PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier event
Washtenaw County Glow is hosting Daywalker Doubles on Saturday May 25th at beautiful Independence Lake County Park.
This is a Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP) Doubles event. You will need to play in the division of the person with the highest rating on your team. For instance, if you have an AM2 rating and your partner has an AM1 rating, then you will be placed in the AM1 division. Of course, you are welcome to play up a division as well. Trophies/plaques awarded in divisions that have a minimum of 3 teams.
Please post your names, PDGA# or email address, and division in the talk section here. We want to make sure we can link you to the tournament on DiscGolfScene. Player pack will be available for all AM players. After deducting player pack and PDGA fee from your entry, the remainder will go towards division payouts.
FORMAT
2 rounds 18 holes each
Best-shot doubles
Independence features a variety of holes and requires a variety of shots in order to score well.
TEES
Open and Advanced - Long/Long (Black Tees)
Intermediate and Masters - Long/Short (Black Tees / White Tees)
All others - Short/Short (White Tees)
COURSE/SETUP:

ACE POOL & EXTRAS
Ace Pool is available both during online registration and at player check-in. Ace pool will payout at 100% for any ace hit in the round. Each ace will count as 1 share, so if 1 ace is hit, that player will receive 100% of the pot. If 2 aces are hit by player A and 1 ace by player B, the split is 2/3 to Player A and 1/3 to Player B. If no one hits the ace pool, we will throw off for it after the final round. 100% of the ace pool will be awarded.
LUNCH/FOOD OPTIONS
You will have a 1 hr lunch (which starts when the LAST CARD of the tournament is turned in). There are several options within a short drive. Of course, you may also elect to pack a lunch. I will inquire with the park about the availability of the concession stand at Blue Heron Bay (water park across the paved parking lot from course)
