If you received an email leading you to this event, CONGRATULATIONS - YOU MADE IT! Thank you for playing in at least two of our previous four - 2023 Best In Dayton Series Events. We welcome you to join us for the Championship Event of Dayton Disc Golf's 2023 Best In Dayton Series - Sponsored by Christine Jennings Streetlight Realty!
Entry fee - $25
So far we have paid out 100% of the BID Series registration fees - per event, and we plan to do the same with this one! EVERY PLAYER will also receive a players pack!
Oh & to make things a bit sweeter for our winners - Dayton Disc Golf has added a minimum of $500 in added cash for the winning pros, and another $500 in added merchandise for the winning amateurs!
1st place only in each division will receive a trophy. - Regardless of the number of registrants in that division.
BUT, PLEASE NOTE: If you are the only person in your division, and you drop or withdraw after the closing of registration, your registration fee will then be used to pay for said trophy. If you do not complete BID #5 you will not receive a trophy or the title of "2023 Best In Dayton" for your division, regardless of points standings.
These will be customized for each winner once the Series is complete. These will be awarded to each divisional winner on 11/11 at our end of year party!
FORMAT: MPO, MA1 will play the gold tees. ALL other divisions will play the blue tees.
ONE ROUND - with the probability and possibility of a Final 9 for some divisions.
(Hang out afterwards for some food!)
Here's the breakdown of how your payout and BID points will be calculated, should you have to play in a different division based on your current PDGA players rating. (For some competitors they may not be in the same division now as when they started competing in the 2023 BID Series.)
POINTS AND PAYOUT WILL BE CALCULATED SEPARATELY
- You will register for this event wherever your CURRENT rating suggests.
- Your POINTS will be calculated based on where you would have placed in the division that you have previously competed in during the BID Series.
(Example: Slimon competed in MA3 in the BID Series prior to this event. But, due to a recent rating boost, he must now play in MA2. Slimon shot a -2, putting him in 6th place for MA2., BUT a -2 would have gotten him 3rd place in MA3 - This would result in him earning 80 points for the day, for what would have been 3rd place in his previously played division.)
- Your PAYOUT will be based on where you place in the division that you must play in, per your current PDGA rating.
(Example: Slimon's score of -2 in MA2, will earn him 3rd place payout for the event. Regardless of where Slimon has played in any of the four previous 2023 BID events.)
- If you have never had a rating, or do not have a current PDGA rating, you MUST play in the division that you have previously competed in during the 2023 BID Series.
(You must compete in your previously played in division if you are eligible to.)
- Your event rating, and payout placement for the day, will both be determined by how you place in the division that you must play the day of the event.

Optional Ace Fund:
$5.00 entry fee for ace fund. 100% payout (divided equally if necessary) if one or more aces are hit. If no aces are hit we will be doing a CTP, for all who enter in the ace fund, for 100% - directly after the completion of the Final 9 playoffs, if there are any ties for points OR first place ties.
Payout:
Divisions will receive payouts per PDGA rules;
PayPal will be used to payout PRO's.
Hazy Shade Disc Golf & More will handle payout for AM's.

Our "2023 Best In Dayton Series Championship" is a C-Tier sanctioned event. This event's registration will be "invite only", and will only be available to those who meet the eligibility requirements. Please see BID rules for full details
REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT!!!!
- You do not have to be a current PDGA member for the Championship event. However, there is a $10 PDGA fee for non current members.
