Sunday, March 13, 2011 · McMinnville, Oregon
C-tier · PDGA sanctioned singles tournament
Gonna be a great day of disc golf. Wondering how many are going to need a ride on the DiscVanGo. By far the best way to travel to any event!!!

You would not be allowed to play ameteur in major events only. Pros that qualify can play am at events and win script. What division you play is based on your rating. Once you have accepted cash you can no longer play ameteur in major events.
Travis Head March 2, 2011 at 12:48am
ok.. So if you play pro and cash then you are no longer allowed to play in any amatuer division in any other tournament?
Jeremy Fancher March 1, 2011 at 12:03pm
Another big difference is the level of competition between the two. Pro is a very tough division to win in but you learn a vast amount of the game with players that have been playing longer
Terry Shuler March 1, 2011 at 11:27am
Only pro divisions pay cash. You may play pro and still take script to keep your major ameteur status. All ameteur divisions get paid in script. Script can be used day of the tournament or later at Disc Golf Depot.

Whats the difference between advanced and pro? Does pro pay out cash?
Terry Shuler February 28, 2011 at 2:41am
This is a 36 hole event.
2 rounds of 18..
Total score of both rounds.
Does that clear any questions up?

Is this a single round format tourney? I also have to agree with Mr. Fancher and say that some participants might reconsider the division choice they have made. Just sayin'...

Nick in intermediate? I smell a sandbagger. Better give him the trophy now
Jeremy Fancher February 24, 2011 at 10:43pm
Thanks. Dang, I think there are some adv. players that should step up to pro......
Terry Shuler February 24, 2011 at 7:07am
I will fix that Mr. Fancher
Jeremy Fancher February 23, 2011 at 11:01pm
