About this tournament
The HDG Young Guns is a Junior Disc Golf League, started by Houston Disc Golf, specifically to get the Houston area children involved in the game we all love so much.
Last year we had 30+ kids, ages ranging from 6-18 years old, and 20+ of the kids participated in our inaugural League Championship Tournament.
With the growth of the sport, the way it’s going, we are excited to see what kind of growth will come with this league! Spread the word to all of your friends and family with children that may enjoy this.
Our purpose with this fundraiser, is to make sure we have the necessary equipment for any kids that are new to the sport, and make sure it comes at NO cost to the parents.
We would also like to supply each child with a players’ packs to start each season, but will need the help of the BEST DG Community in the world!!
The league begins on the 1st Monday of April, at Zube Park, 6pm, will be 12 weeks long, and will end with a championship tournament to cap it off.
This is where you all come in! On February 19th, 2022, we will hold our, 1st Annual BorTOT’s Young Gun Fundraiser BYOP Doubles tournament, at Zube Park.
We will offer the same divisions as we do for all of our minis and will sign up in the division of the highest rated player on your team.
Any players that sign up in the incorrect division will be subject to division changed without notice.
On top of the regular divisions, we will also have a Parent/Child division, for any of the parents that would like to compete with their child. THIS DIVISION WILL PLAY "ALTERNATING" shots. All other divisions will play "BEST" shot.
Sign up will be $25 per player/$50 per team, with $20 per team going to payout (top 25% of each division), and $30 will go to the Young Guns.
Stick around after the round to participate in the raffle, Ring of Fire, or to just hang out and enjoy the festivities!
