A question about the "lateral in" rule: Do we take it laterally in to the nearest point in bounds? It has come up before and there is still varying thoughts. For example: If i throw down the right side on hole 15, cross into the "river" road on the right lane and stay on the road in the left lane side, do I take it in on the left side of the road or the right side?

Hi Ben, thanks for your question! We will be taking it laterally to the nearest point inbounds. So if you're in the right lane on 15 you take inbounds to the grass on the right, and so forth.

Is there a reason the event is capped at 80? I see a bunch of tee times still open. Just wondering if I can squeeze in still (along with everyone on the WL)

Hi Josh, thank you for your question. The reason is so those 80 people would have more flexibility in choosing a tee time and we wouldn't need to look for that 80th person to choose the magical last slot of 3:30pm for example. The biggest thing is we ordered enough discs for this amount of part ... more

Can I be moved to the 11:30 tee time with the Gibsons? Thanks!

If you go to your registration you can edit your tee time as long as the time you want is open!

Thanks!

Will there be a MA65 division?

FlyRite Disc Golf   March 20, 2024 at 3:06pm

Hello Donald, there will not be an MA65 Division. Thank you for asking. The only Age-Restricted Divisions there will be are MA50, MA60, and MA70.

Nolan, will there be a MA40 division?

Do you know what pin placements will be for this tournament?

FlyRite Disc Golf   February 19, 2024 at 2:37am

We will be utilizing the Original Pin locations for this event, including the short "island" pin location for Hole 20.

Is there a reason for using the color divisions instead of the typical divisions? I don’t understand the point.

We didn’t change it yet because we’re still figuring out all the divisions but the color divisions are just a placeholder. But the normal reason is just to have a different rating spread than Mixed Amateur Divisions and we believe having that extra lower Division helps with the influx of newer players getting the chance to join a tournament and feel like they have a genuine chance:

MA1 is >935; MA2 is <935; MA3 is <900; MA4 <850. Whereas the Color Divisions: Blue <970; White <935; Red <900; Green <850; Purple <800

Thank you for the response and the explanation. I always appreciate you putting on these events.
