For those of you requesting refunds after January 10, I am doing my best to be fair and take care of you and us (DG1). As people request to enter the event late and after they pay I am refunding based on order of requests received less a $10 fee.
Keep in mind the DG1 event refund policy: ***DG1 is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
A $5 administrative fee will be added to all refunds.
AFTER January 10, player packs will be issued instead of refunds. Player packs will be mailed post event.***

Is it just me or is it crazy for a professional mpo player to be allowed to drop down to ma1. I understand there was no mpo division but it is called amateur tournament for a reason. Just thought it was a little suspect that we had some pros in an amateur tournament. I just think it takes away from us amateurs and our ratings. I mean it clearly says Wonderland amateur showcase.
Per PDGA rules, players that have been classified as professional are allowed to play in MA1 tournaments that are A-tier and below if they are rated under 970.
If you look at crows profile it clearly says amateur. He has played in mpo fields before to test the waters, he's never took cash. So he's clearly a am player.

Steven Andrews January 19, 2023 at 9:11pm
When will tee times be posted?
Michael Tracy January 19, 2023 at 11:25am
And there was no 17 or 18 on Wednesday morning
Michael Tracy January 19, 2023 at 11:23am
Mike, Played Wednesday and they were still moving baskets and a lot of construction still going on. Will they be doing the construction on Friday during tournament
Michael Barnett January 19, 2023 at 2:06am
Just a heads up about The Quarry. Holes 16-20 are all relocated and set. New tee signs will be installed on Thursday afternoon.

Why do people feel the need to express their opinion about tournament policies when they are not a TD or asst TD. Mind your own business keep your 2 cents to yourself. Don't judge a person or there decisions when you don't walk in their shoes. This is a form of entertainment for most lighten up Fockers
Bart I know but I dont like when people feel like them spending money make them special
darren mottola January 17, 2023 at 4:45pm
while i respect your need to be taken care of this is the first event ive ever withdrawn from. entering a tourney 3 months in advance its difficult to anticipate an employer and their need to be taken care of. this would have been 3 wwas in a row. also if i was to do the math i would bet that monies spent in last year alone was in the 1000s. most with sunking. so respectfully i ask for a refund and i understand an admin fee. tia.
Spending money doesn't make you special...everyone has priorities. If you wanted to play then you should have asked for the time off. Plain and simple...if your job for some reason doesn't accommodate that then be responsible and don't register. Hope you have a profitable weekend!

JP Wellman January 15, 2023 at 1:41pm
Hey Mike,
Any chance I can slide into MA1 still? Payday was yesterday, I just didn’t realize registration ended on the 9th. Hopefully we can work something out bc I’d love to play the event
I never received the email. Can you please re-send it to [email redacted] or PM me here on DGS? Thank you much
Chuck Brunke January 15, 2023 at 11:59am
Mike, Chuckster….. Please slide me over to MA2. I’d like to play the same pool as LeighAnne and Sean so we don’t have to travel between courses on the same day. Thank guys.
I would have done it myself, but the site wouldn’t let me make the change.
Christian Wilborn January 14, 2023 at 10:46pm
Any hints or general info on what the changes might be to holes 17-19 on quarry? I am driving up tomorrow to get practice in and I won’t be able to come back up until the event because of work.
Also, have there been any changes to floral or is it the standard layout?
Thank you!
Denise Cook January 14, 2023 at 10:15pm
Mike,
Please withdraw me from the tournament. I have to work.
Thank you
Michael Barnett January 13, 2023 at 3:58pm
The Quarry Update
The Quarry still has heavy construction due to the installation of a bike path. Holes 17, 18 & 19 will be adjusted on Tuesday 1/17. Hole 20 will also probably be shortened to accommodate these changes.

Like playing longs the first two rounds in MA60- a better challenge, but being rated against MA1 And MA40 really hurts our ratings- can I move to MA3
Thanks the confirmation said I could only change it up to January 9th
Personally, I do not feel anything special needs to be accommodated when those details were provided in registration and prior to paying. I also think it's mighty fine of you to even consider doing something special. We all know the risk we take when registering for something months in advance, ... more
Personally, I do not feel anything special needs to be accommodated when those details were provided in registration and prior to paying. I also think it's mighty fine of you to even consider doing something special. We all know the risk we take when registering for something months in advance, you could get injured, a special circumstance, or anything...that is part of the risk. Accept the risk, or do not register. The last thing a person should expect is an exception to the rule. Again, mighty nice of you to consider it, but that is ABOVE AND BEYOND any requirements you have for refunding.
Very well said
