When Ams play the Beast on Sunday, what pads are they using? MPO? FPO?

Ryan Draper   March 12, 2020 at 6:17am

Male amateurs will use the MPO pads and female amateurs will use the FPO pads

Matthew Villegas    March 11, 2020 at 9:16pm

Is there a player’s email coming or anything? How does practice work today?

Ryan Draper   March 11, 2020 at 2:00pm

Email is coming this morning, practice is open and unrestricted

Adrian Lopez   March 11, 2020 at 7:11pm

Hey Ryan, I haven't received the email yet.

Jeff S    March 9, 2020 at 7:46pm

What do tickets cost? Also, given the forecast, what are the chances of delays or cancellations?

Is there a spectator schedule?

Mikey Seibert   March 10, 2020 at 4:21pm

You'll have to look on the pdga event time. It will show tee times. Then just go watch who you want.

Mikey Seibert   March 11, 2020 at 1:14pm

Yes its rain or shine

Austin Gage    March 9, 2020 at 4:11pm

How can we figure out the tee times for the different cards if we are coming to spectate?

Ryan Draper   March 9, 2020 at 4:38pm

Tee times will be posted on the PDGA event page https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/44144

Feather Rob    March 8, 2020 at 11:55pm

Is there a host hotel or better yet host rv campground?

Ryan Draper   March 9, 2020 at 12:18am

Sorry no Rob, our event is on the same weekend as the TC show Fixer Upper's yearly event. So it is impossible to get hotel deals.

Bill M.   March 10, 2020 at 2:17pm

We have a campsite at Lake Waco about 15 minutes away. There are several campgrounds along the shore.

Michael Stembridge    March 8, 2020 at 2:43am

Is Wednesday the day we can have a opportunity meet and greet the pros? If so is there a specific place and time for meet and greet?

Hey Erick, we are always looking for volunteers who would like to help out! Send me a dm with your info and I'll pass it along to our volunteer coordinator. Thanks!

Erick Villa   March 12, 2020 at 4:16am

Hey Ryan I send you a dm never got a response

Austin Gage    February 27, 2020 at 3:10pm

I'm not playing in the tournament but I am coming to spectate. This is my first tournament to go to. When, over the course of the tournament, are the best opportunities to meet the pros?

Mikey Seibert   March 1, 2020 at 5:10pm

The day before is usually a player party or like a flymart. That is the best time usually

Michael Stembridge   March 8, 2020 at 2:43am

When and where will be the fly mart the day before?

Mikey Seibert   March 8, 2020 at 10:52pm

Friday, at 7pm, on the waco suspension bridge

Justin Murphy    February 18, 2020 at 12:37pm

Good morning! As someone who is travelling a long distance to come play in this magnificent tournament, I have a couple questions. A). How do practice rounds work the day before? I imagine it is busy and you can’t just walk on and practice, is someone kind of there to set tee times or something? B). Will there be some sort of an email or something to the players to know their tee times? Thanks very much from Canada!

Ryan Draper   February 18, 2020 at 4:57pm

They day before is open practice! There will be an email full of pertinent information, most likely tee times will not be in that email, BUT tee times will definitely be listed on the pdga event page prior to the day of.

Justin Murphy   February 18, 2020 at 10:30pm

Thanks big guy. You’re the man!

Shannon Russell    February 9, 2020 at 11:43pm

For ams tee time. Will we be announced like the pros?

Ryan Draper   February 18, 2020 at 4:57pm

Yessir! You may even be announce BY some pros :)

Kevin Eldredge    January 21, 2020 at 2:23am

What's the chance that a few of those remaining MPO spots will be distributed to other Pro divisions with wait lists?

Ryan Draper   January 21, 2020 at 4:43pm

The chances will be much more apparent when we are withing a couple weeks of the tournament. As it is now, I think they are almost 0 because I think the tournament will be full before this week's end!

Jason Z    January 16, 2020 at 4:47pm

Will the schedule allow the AM divisions to play then follow the pros on the same day? :)

Ryan Draper   January 16, 2020 at 9:16pm

Yes sir, its set up specifically for that :)

Kinsey Lemke    January 15, 2020 at 1:43am

Will the cap for MP40 likely stay at 16?

Wallace Hall   January 15, 2020 at 10:52pm

.

Ryan Draper   January 16, 2020 at 3:57pm

Yes

John Belty    January 13, 2020 at 9:09pm

is the cap for MP50+ going to stay at 8 players?

Ryan Draper   January 14, 2020 at 4:00pm

Hey John, most likely not. The FPO division is filling quickly, and that would be the only source to make room for MP50.

Roy Lyons   January 16, 2020 at 11:05pm

So, will there be more than 8 MP50+ players?

Ryan Draper   January 21, 2020 at 4:50pm

Doubtful

John Liaz    January 11, 2020 at 1:13am

How many holes do ams play during their rounds at Cameron Park?

Ryan Draper   January 14, 2020 at 3:59pm

Hey John, the am divisions will be playing 27 baskets at Cameron Park.

todd young    January 6, 2020 at 4:12pm

Do Pros only play 3 rounds from the 12th-14th? The PDGA page: https://www.pdga.com/news/2020-pdga-major-nt-dgpt-tier-schedule-released
says the tournament is from the 13th-15th. Which of these is correct for planning purposes?

Andrew Barker   January 10, 2020 at 5:02pm

The pros will play first round on Thursday and the final round will be on Saturday. While the Amateurs will play at another course on Friday and Saturday, then the final round on Sunday at The Beast.
