If it’s anything like last year they will barely announce it and won’t read your comment from this thread

Anna Hare   January 15, 2023 at 6:41am

The comments section has sounded discouraging…

Trevor Chart   January 15, 2023 at 6:43pm

Last year's Am players are still waiting on part of the player's packs to be delivered.

Joe King around    July 20, 2022 at 6:39pm

Hello Jeff,
Maybe you and the rest of the DGPT forgot about us portland open amateurs have been waiting for the rest of our player packs , still have not heard a damn word about the Danner boots discount codes !
And let's be completely honest that the players pack all together was nowhere close to a $150-$200 players pack in the first place ! Dgpt portland open jacket was a sweater not a jacket , a $10 drawstring bag , 3 base plastic disc , player cards , 1 sticker , mini marker and a pro ... more

Well said

Ed Jordan   August 15, 2022 at 12:14am

Worth noting the retail price of the Nike jacket is $70: https://www.dgpt.com/products/1-2-zip-nike-portland-open-pullover/ and the players pack is supposed to be $200 in value.

Steve Boveri   August 15, 2022 at 7:04pm

Unprofessional at best. So, maybe it should be the UDGT....This can't be the only event that is being ignored by the UDGT as I've heard rumblings from other states. Not a good look if you want to be taken seriously...

Brandon Gundlach    July 19, 2022 at 4:56am

Kind of sucks we have to literally keep making comments about this. Can someone please let us know.

Malum Nothis   July 19, 2022 at 12:04pm

It appears we all got promised an item before it was secured with the provider. I wonder if the player pack value will reach what we paid for. It sure looks short....30 events this year and this has occured with 6. That is 20 percent of the time. Maybe I will just decide that 20 percent of the time ... more

Brandon Gundlach   July 19, 2022 at 6:50pm

I hear ya

Brandon Gundlach    July 19, 2022 at 4:54am

Ya I never got a code either. Was this just a email to get a code or what?

Harry Tucker    July 18, 2022 at 5:37pm

Wheres the danner boot discount code at ?
Never recieved an email?

Steve Boveri   July 18, 2022 at 6:50pm

Harry, about a month ago we got an e mail stating they were still working on it....:( Message me with your e mail address and I'll forward it to you. Realisticlly, I think we got forgotton...

Malum Nothis   July 19, 2022 at 12:23pm

Not forgotten... Ignored.

Steve Boveri   July 19, 2022 at 2:11pm

No difference to me...This was very similiar to 2020 or 2021 when it took a long time to get our refunds after they cancelled it.

I gave my constructive criticism Monday after event.

Malum Nothis    June 21, 2022 at 12:39pm

Still waiting on those Danner codes...anyone get a reliable update as opposed to a put off? I wonder who represents the players on this type of thing?

Haven't heard anything else besides that response..

Malum Nothis   June 21, 2022 at 5:46pm

Well, at least it's in progress.

Malum Nothis   July 17, 2022 at 7:55am

Still waiting...still doubting the value of player pack portion received. Maybe next year just advertise accurately.

Steve Boveri    June 6, 2022 at 9:32pm

So, weren't we suppose to get a Danner Discount card in our Players Pack? Myself and several others all realized we didn't get them...Or is The DGPT sending us a code via e mail?

Hey Steve, as soon as Danner emails the codes to us we will email them out to players. We were expecting them sooner so sorry for the delay!

Steve Boveri   June 8, 2022 at 2:19pm

Thanx, Jeff

Malum Nothis   June 18, 2022 at 3:12am

Any update on this? Last post was ten days ago.

Joe King around    June 4, 2022 at 12:54am

Question about Sunday and being able to watch the big dogs play glendoveer.
Would I be able to bring my 2 kids to come spectate as well or does that only work for the Am's that played?

Joe King around    June 2, 2022 at 11:24pm

I had to back out of my tee time today for glendoveer , so whoever wants to go huk there is one spot for 5:30 tee time today June 2nd

Just curious: why does such a high level event not include Riverbend at Milo?

Jordan yent   June 2, 2022 at 10:49pm

Because Milo will be played June 9th-12th for the Beaver State Fling, which is silver series event on the tour.

Zac Teuscher   June 2, 2022 at 11:12pm

Milo pretty strict with one event a month.. oh and BSF is next week so Ams could have played it

Zac Teuscher    June 1, 2022 at 10:03pm

Tee Times are posted!

Thomas Fenter    June 1, 2022 at 5:08pm

Do we receive payouts (script)? If so what’s the payout line?

Trevor Chart   June 1, 2022 at 5:11pm

From the About page: "Players Packs: All amateur registrants will receive $200 in merchandise to include (3) Trilogy discs, jacket, and other items from Disc Golf Pro Tour partners! All amateur divisions are trophy only."

Zac Teuscher   June 1, 2022 at 10:04pm

"scrip"... sorry TD pet peeve of mine

Joe King around    June 1, 2022 at 11:36am

I keep seeing that player check in at glendoveer , so do we need to stop at golf course before our first round at dabney?

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 3:00pm

We prefer that players check in today at Glendoveer. But if necessary, check in is avaliable at Dabney on Thursday before your round. In this case, you will need to grab your player pack at Glendoveer after your round, or on Friday.

Evan Crabtree    June 1, 2022 at 4:24am

Hole 3 at Dabney has no OB in the course notes but there are stakes and white lines surrounding the pond? What would the play be?

Devin Swan   June 1, 2022 at 5:16am

I think the pond area is probably playing as OB?

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 9:14am

Yes, there is OB. My mistake, the OB will be clarified in the email sent out later on with tee times. Everything inside the white stakes will play OB. The OB line starts roughly 50ft in front of the tee pad (in the tall grass) and snakes over to the road. Everything short of that is safe. Past that ... more

Brandon Tilton    May 31, 2022 at 11:22pm

Are we getting tee times before the round or just showing up close to the hour blocks?

Zac Teuscher   June 1, 2022 at 2:25am

one would hope it's before the round but we will see...

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 9:04am

Tee times will be posted no later than Wednesday evening.

Michael Babcock    May 31, 2022 at 12:45pm

I will be also falling into the group that will not be able to check in Tuesday/Wednesday. Thursday check in before the round is okay?

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 9:05am

Thursday is ok. You will need to stop by Glendoveer to pick up your player's pack after the round, or on Friday.

Nathan McCauley    May 31, 2022 at 2:09am

Will the 3.04 Dress Code be in effect throughout the tournament? I'm asking for myself and because I'm thinking about bringing a caddy.

Ben Baker    May 31, 2022 at 12:11am

Is there a plan for parking at Pier on Saturday?

Steve Boveri   May 31, 2022 at 1:04am

Thats gonna be a fun experience

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 9:09am

Because we are using tee times, we won't have the entire 130 players on the course at the same time, which should help a bit. In the past for other tournaments, players have parked along side the road. Carpooling will be recommended.

Mike Smith    May 30, 2022 at 4:23pm

I'm guessing we can park at Glendoveer for the practices rounds and on Friday, correct? I know it's off limits Sat-Sun though.

Jeff Hemmerling   May 30, 2022 at 11:48pm

Good question!

Daniel Kitchens   June 1, 2022 at 9:07am

Yes, you may do so. This should not be an issue Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
