For those that are asking about spotters I have e-mailed those that have reached out to John or myself. However, if you still want to spot we are more than welcome to have you!! Please check in at the white tent behind hole 1 on the Toboggan. We are capping the spotters to 20, but don't let that turn you away!
Priority will be given to those that can work a full day, or until the lead card finishes your hole. Lunch will be provided to those that work 6+ hours, a shirt (to everyone), and a disc an hour. Those spending all day with us get rewarded from picking for the special stash.
Priority goes to those that want to work full days. I know we haven't got 20 commitments, it's still a first come first serve.
We will be there at 7 am on Sunday to work the entire day. Me and my wife.

Following the Fan Vote on Tuesday night, the tee times will be posted soon after.
We are waiting for them. They eventually will be on the PDGA site. As soon as we get them we will post them.

I know this is in the About section but: It does cost $10 for a daily vehicle pass to enter the park. You can get an annual for $35 if you plan on being here throughout the week. You can also purchase them online: https://www.metroparks.com/shop/

Just in case anyone wants to look back on an old GLO tournament held in 1992 at Firefighters Park in Troy, Michigan.
The course looked a lot different back then.

Don’t forget to check yourselves for ticks. Just found one on me.

Do we just park at Kensington Metropark, 4570 Huron River Pkwy, Milford, MI, USA or is parking different for the toboggan course?
Great Question Kenneth! There are 3 entrances off of I-96. Once inside the park there are whiteboard signs leading you to the course. There is a permanent course by the Water Park with 2 18-Hole courses called Black Locust. The Toboggan is a drive to the east side of the park. The signs should lead you there.
It all depends on which entrance you are closer to: http://www.metroparks.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/2017-Kensington-Map1.pdf?x91894

In response to an earlier comment about volunteering/spotting said to report to the big white tent. Does this still hold true? I can be there all day Saturday and Sunday.
Dustin Turner July 1, 2019 at 4:16am
